Same as yesterday. Certain sprint again. Greipel in great form. Where's the value here? Morkov in break again?

Dumoulin 300-1 with Vic? ew a very reasonable 75-1?

Can't desert Goss at this stage
Report marychain1 July 6, 2012 7:53 AM BST
Cav win, Goss top 3.
Report laroche July 6, 2012 11:08 AM BST
Lead out troops and organisation might be important here. The last 2km looks hazardous - narrow and a couple of 90 degree corners (the penultimate one could have been chosen by Jeremy Clarkson!). Little opportunity to come from behind. But they'll all know that, so it could be carnage here. Think I'll pass on this stage.

If that's the best course Metz could come up with they shouldn't have the Tour imo.

Greipel crashed early Stage 6(and Gesink). Shoulder injury.
Report BlockingBug July 6, 2012 1:53 PM BST
I'm wondering it Sky will try and dominate the front again but with the intention of keeping Wiggins out of trouble. Cav seemed to be left with only EBH too far out yesterday but if they can keep it together going into that last 2km then he might find himself better placed.

Still think he's got the beating of Greipel in a flat sprint all things being equal.
Report HoD July 6, 2012 1:57 PM BST
I agree. Wasn't really a sky-train yesterday, more just safety for Wiggo. Cav wasn't really done any favours by it either IMHO.

Farrar so far off the radar can't even get a price!

Greipel riding well again .. probably the value bet atm.

Technical finish today with bends .... Sagan?!
Report db1974 July 6, 2012 2:09 PM BST
Greipel has a badly injured finger from his fall earlier. Not sure how much that will hamper him in the sprint, if at all.
Report BlockingBug July 6, 2012 2:20 PM BST
I read on BBC sport it was his shoulder that was playing up. Also heard that Cav couldn't put pressure on his wrist yesterday.

So many rumours.

Agree there is value in Greipel at current prices and had a bit so equal green him and Cav. Sagan is a much bigger price today than he has been previously. I assumed that was because this is a flatter finish than yesterday?
Report HoD July 6, 2012 2:53 PM BST
No brainer after intermediate sprint?!

Cav and Greipel not 100% and Goss hungry to take Green jersey .... and he's 11-1. That's my bet of the day done!
Report db1974 July 6, 2012 3:06 PM BST
Greipel saving himself for the hat-trick later IMO, assuming he's fit enough

Worth a shout if he gets to 3/1 I reckon
Report book July 6, 2012 3:42 PM BST
griepels out isnt he.
Report db1974 July 6, 2012 3:50 PM BST
Yeah, not contesting the sprint today due to injuries
Report BlockingBug July 6, 2012 3:57 PM BST
Bloody hell, went away for an hour, absolute carnage!
Report book July 6, 2012 3:57 PM BST
no greipels is in leading pack of sprinters, big chance
Report db1974 July 6, 2012 4:03 PM BST
Yeah he's back in the mix alright. Matches at 48 on here. None of it mine sadly Cry
Report book July 6, 2012 4:04 PM BST
goss is a cert
Report db1974 July 6, 2012 4:12 PM BST
Fcuks sake. Got Greipel at 25/1
Report BlockingBug July 6, 2012 4:14 PM BST
Well that's made a mess of my book. Mental. If Goss can't win today, he's not going to.
Report book July 6, 2012 4:16 PM BST
if you got griepel at 25/1,you should have a big green figure whoever won !
Report BlockingBug July 6, 2012 4:17 PM BST
Sagan and Greipel will have been matched at large prices by some lucky people :)
Report db1974 July 6, 2012 4:27 PM BST
Only for a tenner so not worth laying off, especially considering I also had Goss e/w and Cav at evs before the crash.

Not a big fan of laying off for the sake of it anyway. In the long run I believe it pays off to let it run. Killer on days like today though.
Report Fela Kuti July 6, 2012 4:27 PM BST
Sagan matched at 44
Report HoD July 6, 2012 4:35 PM BST
Laid a bit of my Goss bet ... another profit but not quite a tenner!!

I'm a big Sagan fan! Just wish he'd done iton St 2 when I backed him!!
Report BlockingBug July 6, 2012 4:56 PM BST
Utterly horrific day for me today. Shouldn't get so heavily involved at the office. Wish I'd taken some of Sagan for insurance in the high twenties but hey ho.
Report HoD July 6, 2012 8:23 PM BST
I was quite happy with my 66-1 ew Hesjedal bet until about 15:53
Report db1974 July 6, 2012 9:19 PM BST
Greipel had a dislocated shoulder in the sprint
Report Rich W July 6, 2012 10:05 PM BST
got away with one today. got home from work to find my match bet goss beat sagan , unmatched. anf backed greipel top 3 finish again,
Report lucylucky July 7, 2012 5:40 PM BST
Hesjedal was never going to come in anyway as he won the Giro, count it as a loser and do better research next time.
