going for cerrone to beat diaz, i dont think diaz can tkae the punches cerrone will land on him, and fitch to grind out a dec over hendricks, im leaving the main event well alone, could go either way and whichever way it goes it will be a 1 sided beatdown, thinking about it betting on the fight not to go the distance is a good bet, also going for volkman and laying gustafson as i think that could be closer than people think. having some small bets on pearson and njoukanitoo who you guys got and why?

I like your Lesnar/Ovareem strategy razz, would be happy to lay both of them for decision victories, no way those 2 gorillas go 5 rounds. Aside from the main event however, not a very thrilling card, no interest here.

i actually like this card, think there are some great fights! As far as betting goes i dont really fancy much. Ive backed cowboy everytime so far and think hes a stud b ut at that price against diaz i dont think ill take him, diaz really really impressed me last time out so think ill leave it alone and cheer cowboy on. Fitch will win, that would be my one bet. Think gustafsson will win but the janitor defo has the tools to trouble him so ill be leaving that alone. One price that does interest me is Escudero's,ive always been impressed with him and think he has legit skills but always seems to get beat, might have a larl dabble on him and hope his cut from the ufc has fired him up. My gut says overeem will tko brock and quite early on aslong as he brings it and isnt too wary of brocks takedowns.
Just seen that condit has opened as fave against Nick Diaz!! What your thoughts on that Razz?? Id make nick quite heavy fave in that fight. |

yeah theres definately some interesting fights on this card, i didn't like the look of escudero in his last ufc fight, wasnt it against olivera? i was going to go with volkman but im gonna check out escudero's post ufc fights first, agree with you on the gustafsson/vlad fight for the most part im leaving that alone. also the more i think about it the more im leaning toward overeem in the main event now, he knows that brock is just going to shoot on him straight away, so his training camp should be focused on avoiding the takedown.
what site was condit fav with? lines must of changed now, diaz is 1.67 ish and condit is 2.2, wish id seen the lines when they opened, would of piled on diaz if he was above evens, i see it being similar to the penn fight except condit's boxing isnt as good, but he has a lot more stamina, i'd go with diaz at anything above 1.7if i can get it |

would be nice if there was more liquidity on these markets though, bumping this to try and get some attention for the markets.

oh damn is it?! I havnt had much time to look at bets at the moment,i was just looking at the underground and it said there that condit opened as fave, yeah i dont really see a way he beats diaz, comfortable decision win for me.
I liked escudero on TUF and i liked the look of him against dunham when he was winning the fight till he got caught in a sub and i was impressed when he tko'd cole miller on his ufc debut,he beat danny lauzon too easily so i was a bit shocked when he got cut,i dont rate volmann really either. No way is it a banker but i think the price is tasty. I was asked how i saw overeem brock going on a thread a few monthes back and i instantly replied that i thought overeem would smash him so im sticking with that,i over analyze sometimes!Sometimes i think overeem lacks heart a bit though, just hope he come out to fight and not just stuff the take down! Pissed off i wont be able to watch this live cos i wont be able to record the prelims, some great fights, nunes vs manny for one! |

ufc 141 has so many fights that im unwilling to take a punt on. either through them being super competetive or 2 of my favourite fighters.
lesnar vs overeem - im a massive fan of ubereem but this fight is a complete coin toss for me; either overeem tags brock and weve seen he doesnt like to be hit and hell cave in or brock will shoot before he gets tagged put reem on his back and pound him out. unfortunately i see the latter more likely as brock actually got velasquez down only for him to pop back up. with lesnar being a dog as well i might have to have a little play on him. vlad vs gustaffson - i think that whilst gustaffson is a solid prospect i cant help but feel like hes being slightly overrated. i know he went to alliance to train with phil davis after he manhandled him wrestling but the janitor despite his age has some solid takedowns. with the odds as they are im not going to bet on this. fitch vs hendricks - another fight that based on the odds il likely leave from a gambling perspective. fitch gets a lot of stick from his cautious approach to fights but it cant be argued its effective. hendricks too has good wrestling but im not convinced that defensively its all that solid. if he can stuff the takedown though he has the edge on the feet. in fact writing this has convinced me for fitch and think god forbid he might finish the fight as hell want to get in the mix for an interim shot at condit/diaz. diaz vs cowboy - this is the fight where i cant pick a winner because id sooner just sit back and enjoy the fight. throw in the bad blood between these 2 and i think were set for an all out classic war. my opinion of this fight is that cowboy will have enough to avoid being submitted by nate and the edge on the feet. think this will go the distance as nate chin despite cowboys power will hold out. phan vs hettes - phan is a fighter with a wealth of experience fighting a guy with little on the big stage. nam phan has lost to practically all of the ranked guys hes ever fought with his biggest win coming over leonard garcia. hettes looked good in his last fight against bruce leeroy who in turn looked outstanding against cole escovedo. im tipping hettes to get the upset either by sub or decision. |

cowboy vs diaz looks good for fight of the night.
Having a larl flutter on overeem by ko,stun gun on points and cowboy on points at 13/1. |

Biggest fight in ufc history IMO.
Or is that an overstatement |

I make Lesnar a good punt. He's seriousy out to prove a point and if he can take down Velasquez, I can't see him having a problem doing the same to Overeem.
|
|
By:
Nate Diaz weighed in a pound over weight and had to go and lose it in an hour! He'll have wasted for this, and Donald Cerrone will punish him.

How do I view the prelims on Facebook?
|
|
By:
every fighter out there will be out there to prove a point though.
its touch and go who wins, brock shuts his eyes when he gets punched and panicks, thats my reason for going with reem. We dont really know how brock will be after his condition either. Im not putting any cash on it though so i cant be that confident ![]() Just gona sit back and enjoy it,for the round or 2 it will last. |
|
By:
Oh sure as sh!t, it can go either way, as almost any fight in the UFC can - apart from those that concern 'Bones' Jones.
