Soszynski, Homminick, Mir and Jones is the accumulator i am thinking about tonight... if I back it then someone will lose... if I don't back it they'll all probably win.

hallman could have cardio issues in this fight

I was actually on TKO, but felt like I just committed daylight robbery when he claimed it was TKO.

After witnessing that, not even worried about the losing bet. Well worth it.

Don't think so sabu, pretty sure a KO/TKO requires striking by definition. Could be wrong but fairly sure it counts as a submission.

jones won by a modified guillotine it doesnt matter if machida tapped or not he won the fight with a submission

yeah i got an email too, i cant remember if it was that fight or not but one of them had the market up way too long, like after the fight had ended, or maybe the event didnt get suspended before the start of the fight so bets that werent in play didnt get cancelled .

Betfair do not have any rules relating to mma in the rules section which is a bit alarming.This should be sorted before the next event.
In last night events Machida and Big Nog both refused to submit so strictly speaking how could this be regarded as a submission.
Machida's loss by submission though  is less arguable than Big Nog's.In mma referee's intervene in certain situations when a hold looks likely to cause major damage(if an arm is bent in an awkward position is the most likely scenario).Should this still be a submission victory?.You could certainly argue both sides of the arguement.
Betfair needs to have a set of rules that punters can refer to in the rules and regulations section.

My bet on little nog was placed at 11pm last night and still got voided, thats bs.

Like they do with KO/TKO, they can just called it submission/T-submission

I emailed betfair about the ortiz fight being voided and this is the response I got

"I have had a look at the bet in question and the reason the bet was void. Is because the market was loaded as Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira when actually it was his twin brother fighting. So we had to void all bets and your money was never taking from your account. We only take the stake from the account once the bet has settled."

I had a feeling they might have got the names wrong as I saw nothing wrong with markets being suspended too early/late as has happens in the past.  I didn't think they'd be so stupid though...

Thankfully I didn't have much on that fight but surely they should have used common sense?  I guarantee not a single person in the whole world bet on that fight thinking it was Big Nog v Ortiz.

I also think it's time they added some extra markets.  Go the Distance and Round Betting like they do in boxing would be nice.

I'll email them today.  The more of us that do so, the better.

As for Betfair not having any MMA rules, that's just scary...

i didnt have a single bet on it,didnt really have time to evaluate it,id have done hominick and jones in a double i think so glad i didnt.

Whoever said rashad has a chance against JBJ is completley wrong,machida is an elite striker who would cause anyone problems but at some point JBJ is going to get hold of you and when that happens the end is nigh,machida is better than rashad too by the way.

I still have a sore throat from shouting so much when Mir snapped nogs arm,i F in love Frank,so talented and methodical,Mir gets your arm you should tap or he is taking it home!! To come back like that while he was soooo close to being out is one of the best things ive ever seen in mma!

We offer round betting and go the distance markets for boxing as there are 10-12 rounds in a fight compared to 3 rounds in an MMA contest or 5 rounds for a title fight (which is rare) and the volume on boxing bouts is far greater than that of the MMA markets we offer so things such as round betting and go the distance get priced up fairly well where as we do not believe this would be the case for MMA bouts.

I've just seen they've added round betting for Lesnar v Overeem!
