Hi Razz, where you getting Dunham at 1/4? I can only find him at 2/9. I will post my picks later. Want to have a final think through.

One of my mates knows too much about UFC... here's his report...
Shields v Ellenberger (pick = Ellenberger but too close) Shield's a one trick pony albeit an immense one, if he gets the fight to the floor and on top of Ellenberger it could be a quick nights work... However Ellenberger is a much superior wrestler and getting him on his back is no mean feat for a good wrestler let alone Shields. His only loss in the UFC is a split decision to Carlos Condit in a fight many thought he won. He's on a tear at the minute winning 4 straight and arguably has the heaviest hands in the division... I think Ellenberger has the superior wrestling, stand up, power/strength and cardio. Many have this as a Shields victory and with the recent passing of his father he could turn up and fight like a man possessed. I however feel this will be a KO win for Ellenberger, i think his wrestling will keep the fight on its feet long enough for him to land something nasty. McGee v Yang (pick = McGee) Simple in my eyes. Yang has a punchers chance - i think these two are a class apart. McGee is a real prospect and has a well rounded game. Yang, despite holding an impressive record hasn't really fought anyone of note and is 1-1 in UFC, both fights against guys i don't expect to be on the roster too long. McGee to overwhelm before submitting Yang. Belcher v MacDonald (pick = Belcher but I rate MacDonald so avoid) Belcher's first fight back after his career threatening eye injury - Ring rust could be a factor in this one... and i feel a lot of people are overlooking MacDonald, i rate the guy. I do however believe Belcher has more talent (no pun intended - Alan 'The Talent' Belcher) and on his game would have enough on the feet to take MacDonald out or decision him. I think Jason is slightly better on the ground but could have a job getting Belcher to the mat. All in all this could go either way but i give the edge to Belcher. Brookins v Koch (pick = Koch) Brookins first fight since winning TUF, injuries have kept him from competing and he gets a tough match up against up and comer Koch. Both are well rounded fighters but i feel Koch has more on the feet, his only loss came to Chad Mendes by decision who is an absolute Juggernaut in the 145 division. I would bet on a late KO for Koch after wearing Brookins down in the 1st half of the fight. Dunham v Bailey (pick = Dunham) Complete mismatch in my eyes... Bailey may... may have the better wrestling but Dunham is on another level altogether. He may be on a 2 fight losing streak (another razor thin split decision to Sean Sherk a former champ and a TKO to Melvin Guillard - who is the most athletic, explosive fighter in the 155lb weight class and KOing everyone in his path since moving to train with Greg Jackson) but it has come to the elite at 155. Bailey has never fought at this level - I'm just wondering if he did something to pi$$ Dana off!? I see Dunham ending this early, could clean KO Bailey or rock him and finish via sub either way i don't expect this to go the distance. |

I've gone for a McGee / Dunham double at evens... what's your picks?
By:
First part of the double in... just need McGee now... hopefully he'll pull it off !
By:
belcher looked amazing, was worried his long layoff might affect him but apparently not.
By:
McGee fight coming on now...
By:
yang looks huge
By:
yang seems to be doing more damage with them kicks
By:
10-9 mc gee
what you think? |
By:
nice round by both, mcgee landed heavier shots.
By:
court was the agressor, and landed the better punches, but yang is landing some nice kicks
By:
agreed
By:
yang is breathing with his mouth open i think, could be dangerous if court lands some punches
By:
yang is hardly attacking, very slow fight
By:
another 10-9 mcgee i think
By:
2 rounds for mcgee on my scorecard, look for dongi to come out swinging
By:
oohhh!!!
By:
wow its all kicking off, either way this round...or even a ko?
By:
yang's done now! outta gas
By:
yangs done
By:
unanimous to mcgee i think
By:
mcgee has a good chin yang wouldnt of finished him anyway i dont think, i'll be pissed if the judges dont give court the win i didnt green out on him
![]() |
By:
i greened out, backed yang just before he did a flying knee when the odds went, not up much but green better than nothing.
thoughts on next match? |
By:
nice, got back my loss on the brookings fight and a small green too
![]() |
By:
ha i followed the tip with brookings too lol
going for ellenberger in this one, they seem about evens as fighters so his higher odds leads me to him |
By:
ellenberger odds dropped bout .2
By:
gonna put a bit on ellenberger, shields losing his father could hurt him or give him that extra will to win, i dont think shields can take ellenberger down, and will have to stand up for most of the fight. ellenberger has possibly the most powerfull hands in the ww division atm, and he likes to counter. i think shields will look to use the jab.
By:
can tell im tired when i just realised i backed shields by accident lol
By:
right back on ellenberger at 2.42
By:
haha boxing on soon too!
By:
i got 2.62 on him
By:
thank you very much! easy money
By:
wow!!! what a knee, feel bad for shields though
By:
shouldnt be fighting so soon tbh
By:
i thought i had a little fight left but the ref decided to stop it
erm you was out, then tryed to fight the ref mate! |
By:
jakes on the fast track to a title shot, he did in 1 minute what GSP couldnt do in 25 .
i think mayweather starts at 4? got some money on floyd, and the rugby is on in a bit to, to many things on at once ! |
