Donald Cowboy Cerrone at 2.12 is absolutley mental, the guys a stud, awesome stand up,vicious leg kicks and has a buzz saw of a ground game. He will win this at a canter either by UD or by ko. Best price ive ever seen in mma.

Mate, you've had four bouts to choose from on the main card (on this thread) to discuss, and you just come out so confidently on the one stated. Clearly, it's your special. I haven't bet on the UFC prior and I wouldn't know what to look for to select a worthy candidate of my betting funds, however after reading over some of your previous posts you have a fair track record, and clearly it could be a mistake to go against what appears to be your number-1 best bet.
Thanks for sharing your opinion.
Cheers, SP

did they? i have seen this happen before dr.cypionate, sucks but dont be surprised if betfair cancel the market, it happened with diego sanchez's last fight for me, the only thing they didnt cancel was the betfair points i got from it.

ive had it happen a few times in the baseball and they let it stand, dont see how they can cancel it its totally their fault..its up to them to compensate the pre fight layers imo

ye i agree but because it was a preliminary fight they're never supposed to let the market go in play im fairly sure they will cancel it, hope for you they dont though, also for anyone that cant watch it on the sky channel you can watch it on ufc.tv for free too

straightforward win for sadollah for the first fight, the guy is just non stop relentless energy, will keep it on the stand up and just punish him with punches, kicks, knees and combos everywhere for 3 rounds and win an unanimous dec 30/27 by all 3 judges

I just notified betfair about this error. Hopefully the Dollaway vs Hamman market will be voided... I have had a similar experiencei n tennis and all bets were returned there. If anyone gets a clear answer about this then please post

For anyone who may be interested, I just had a conversation with C/S about the Dollaway fight. Despite the rules stating -
"At the start of the fight all unmatched bets will be cancelled and the market turned in-play. Please note that this market will not be actively managed therefore, it is the responsibility of all users to manage their in-play positions."
the young lady told me that she could not guarantee that this would be the case. This decision will be in the hands of "Market Operations" who will not speak to customers.
I asked her straight out what would happen if I left any offers up for later fights and she said she did not know, despite the rules leaving no room for doubt.
I doubt I'll be staying up all night for all the fights and after that conversation I'm not in a rush to put up any offers for fear of being aftertimed a la Dollaway/Hamman.
It may sound a bit precious but it's no wonder Betfair's profits continue to disappoint their shareholders if they can't enforce the rules they advertise to everyone in the world.

my stream is way behind, my internet connection is so crap that i couldnt cancel my other lay at 1.2 of ludwig so my profit on him has halved, got a massive green on soddolah though

Couldn't believe the odds for this fight when I saw them. Had nowhere to bet though. Miller has no chance with this standing (although he just tagged him) and Bendo is an unsubmitaable beast!

lytle wont win by ko he doesn't punch hard enough, he could submit hardy if he want's to take it to the ground, can't see him doing that tho, hardy by ko or decision for me

great fight for lytle to end his career on, really classy guy that represents what the ufc is all about. guess thats hardy's last ufc fight for a long time, he put up a good fight but he needs to work on other elements of his game

no way in hell this was fixed, this isn't football or tennis, these guys are out there throwing limbs at each other trying to make there opponent unconscious, putting everything on the line.

Sorry mate, not been on here for a while, but thanks for your comments on the 1st page and your welcome, hope you made a nice bit of profit. It was a rediculous price and one of the biggest mismatches ive seen, rivals the rivera vs bisping fight for being one sided, cant beleive some tipped oliviera. I dont normally post here anymore but none of my friends like mma so i need to tell people when i see a good price like that!

No worries mate, glad you finally discovered my post. Had a good little punt on your word at a time when I needed to consolidate some small wins. It's always difficult to go with tips sometimes from people you don't know, because you don't know the person's intention in providing them, but your write-up seemed legitimate and comprehensive, and I gave it a go, glad I did!
Anytime you want to provide me a tip, even if it is through direct message than please do so, or I will just look for you on any associated (mma) threads to follow a good winning opportunity should you furnish such a particular thread with your views.
Thanks kindly for your reply, and all the best, SP.

cool, will do bud. I dont really tell people to bet on something that much unless im pretty sure it will win,not worth the hassel on here,ha! Diego Sanchez is out of the fight vs hughes and the rumour is that kos will be taking the fight, quite a few people on various forums are tipping hughes to beat him,i 100% guarentee that kos will win the fight, hughes wont be able to take him down and defo wont be able to stand with him,im waiting to see if the bookies feel the same way as the people ive spoke to and if they do and kos is a half decent price id jump all over it asap.

What do you think should the prices be? I ask because one way of finding value is to form one's own prices to compare with the bookie's odds when they are released. Doing so allows one to find a position in the market, instead of being dictated by the market where one should be. I recently tipped a 49-1 winner which I thought should be around 9-1, so I took a position about five times the size of my usual stake, since I was in effect saving that much money by not posting my own prices but taking what was on offer in the market. It's a fun exercise which really begins to help form a solid betting practice and good bank management.
Also, why won't Hughes be able to take Kos down, nor stand with him? One of the things which really impressed me about your previous successful tip, was the addition of solid theory with the absence of any guarantees. In saying that, your impressive theory was its own guarantee, if you take my meaning.
So, what is a half decent price to your understanding, and what is the theory behind such a confident guarantee? Many thanks!
Cheers, SP

i agree with mehmet hughes's takedowns are no where near as powerful and explosive as they used to be, matt's pretty old at 37 his cardio is going to be suspect imo, he hasn't fought in nearly a year also. the last top 10 Welterweight fighter hughes beat was b.j penn 5 years ago(only due to b.j gassing), his best victory in the last 4-5 years was against almeida.
As for koshcheck he has superior wrestling, is bigger and faster, arguably better stand-up, has better cardio and has consistently been fighting top 10 fighters for the last 4 years. i cant imagine the price being any higher than 1.33 for kosh

i agree his price should be somewhere in the ball park of 1.33 but from what im hearing on mma forums is that alot fancy hughes,so was hoping for something bigger.
In regards to your question about why Hughes wont take kos down, its simply that kos is one of the best wrestlers in the UFC,even the great GSP couldnt take him down and,i know he didnt try a great deal but there is a reason for that and as for why he wont stand with him? Again simply that kos has better stand up with vicious power and hughes chin isnt what it used to be,Kos is at a similar standard to bj and alves imo so have a look back at when hughes last fought those 2. It really is a terrible fight for Hughes, kos is better at everything and has the confidence to go out and destroy Hughes. Ill also be backing Kos for ko of the night and to win by knock out.
Kos is ever improving, hes gone from just a decent wrestler to a very very good all round fighter where as hughes is on his last legs and every fight could be his last.

out of interest razz, what do you make of the Edgar vs Maynard fight? I only ask as i think the prices are wrong,i have maynard as fave in my book but alot seem to be going with edgar. Fought twice before and maynard won the first and the second was a draw, where maynard came so so close to demolishing edgar in the first.

Ah, lovely, thanks mehmet and thanks razz, all very good information.
Any idea when these fights (Edgar v. Maynard & Hughes v. Kos) will likely be on the cards, only found "Strike Force" markets in mma on BetFair?
Best wishes, SP

betfair don't put up MMA markets other than the numbered ufc ones unless you request them unfortunately, edgar maynard is early november i think and hughes vs kosh is on sept 24th, a couple betting lines have come out for hughes/kosh odds are hughes 3.7-4 kosh 1.22/1.25 atm hopefully when more bookmakers bring odds out for it we might get some better odds on koscheck

Excellent, thanks razz. It does look like Kos is going to be a lot shorter than what mehmet j mook initially suggested, though. That says a lot I guess, about the fact that the wider market sees the same things about this bout.

Jake Shields vs. Jake Ellenberger Alan Belcher vs. Jason MacDonald Erik Koch vs. Jonathan Brookins Dongi Yang vs. Court McGee Evan Dunham vs. Shamar Bailey TJ Waldburger vs. Mike Stumpf Ken Stone vs. Donny Walker Cody McKenzie vs. Vagner Rocha Matt Riddle vs. Lance Benoist Jorge Lopez vs. Justin Edwards Seth Baczynski vs. Clay Harvison Robert Peralta vs. Mike Lullo
Any bets?
i like Rocha, mainly because McKenzie isnt UFC quality and will surely get destroyed?
Dunham vs Bailey is a total mismatch but 1/4 isnt too exciting.
Good to see Belcher back, always good to watch.
Not too sure for the main event, Shields should scrape it though.
Agree with the Kos comments, far too good for Hughes.
Surprised no one has mentioned Lesnar vs Overeem (cant wait) How do you see that 1 going down Peck and Mehmet?

Just noticed that the market is up for the Kos v. Hughes fight (ufc 135). As expected and predicted by razz and mehmet j mook Kos is short 1.23, compared to Hughes 4.70. Not much better in mehmet's opinion of Kos by ko/tko with the price being 1.50. I feel confident to have a go at the Kos price, and will, but may put in a few bids and see if I can get a few ticks better prior to this Saturday (usa time) fight.
Best wishes, SP

mehmet j mook when did i say kos didn't have KO power every single mma fighter has KO power if they connect right. I have always thought kos looks very awkward in his stand up, an after getting jabbed to depth against gsp, an damaging his eye badly. Its his first fight back an i think he is going to be apprehensive about getting hit in the eye. hughes doesn't have the best stand up at all, but i think he will hold his own against kos. This is why if kos doesn't feel comfortable for whatever reason in standing with hughes, i think he will resort to his amazing wrestling and take hughes down at will for a UD.

mehmet j mook - I posted on the other thread, that thanks to you I did in fact earn a couple of quid, never in any doubt from what I read, and Kos quite humble in victory and saying nice things about Hughes which was nice. Thanks to you and razz for guiding me to a nice win. You guys really know your stuff, that's 2/2 from I've followed from you though, mehmet, thanks.
