I just wanted to know peoples opinion on this fight because I think I have found an incorrect line at a UK bookmakers!
Here are the odds:
Jim Miller by decision or technical decision: 13/8 Charles Oliveira by decision or technical decision: 5/2 Charles Oliveira by submission: 11/4 Jim Miller by KO, TKO or disqualification: 13/2 Jim Miller by submission: 15/2 Charles Oliveira by KO, TKO or disqualification: 8/1
From what I have witnessed by watching fights and viewing their stats, I think Jim Miller has a better chance of submitting Charles Oliveira because he has more submission wins, is a black belt in BJJ and was a division 1 wrestler whereas Oliveira is only a brown belt in BJJ.
I also think that if Oliveira has any chance of winning that it will be by KO or decision, these odds are also great value.
Please let me know your opinions and don't be afraid to tell me I'm talking garbage, I want honest opinions!
I wouldn't take the colour of a belt as a guideline necessarily.
I think Bj penn won a world championship in jiu-jitsu when a brown belt.
You see guys all the time at clubs who are naturals and know that they have more ability than the majority of black belts.
Oliveira is hyped up and has yet to beat a big name but has looked very good in his two ufc fights.(Submission of the night award twice if I recall).
I don't think his jiu-jitsu will be his downfall but his cardio might be tested because Jim Miller is relentless.
I think working out the outcome ofthis fight is guesswork as we don't know enough about Oliveira yet.

Thing is Olivera has the fastest and slickest BJJ ive seen for some time.
if u look at it too...since theyve both been in the UFC they've both got the same number of submission wins. 2.
Olivera is 2/2 but Miller 2/8. 100% vs 25% in the UFC.
might explain the prices.
