Can someone explain to please how he is 10/1 and Hushovd 8/11. He is only 4 points behind him and has been a better sprinter so far in my opinion. A lot of Hushovds points came when he was in the lucky breakaway and he won intermediate as well as the stage points. Pettach has won 1 genuine sprint and another and third in another with all the top dogs there. When its been a sprint finish Hushovd has been finishing in tenth or thereabouts??

I'm no expert but Hushovd has an outstandingly consistent record of getting over the mountains to Paris and doing what it takes to amass the points. Twice winner of the Green Jersey, 2nd and 3rd.

There may be a doubt on Pettachi surviving the mountain stages. Hushovd is short either way IMO.
Petachii can really only do the big sprint finishes he is not going to pick up many other points and certainly will not get in another breakaway like Hushvod is likely to,he might not even get over the big hills.
He is looking alot better than I thought he would, I'd reckon he is now odds on to finish the Tour, though I thought the opposite during the weekend and had a feeling he would chuck it on the rest day.
He is finishing to the head of the Bus and is'nt finishing on his own and giving the indication he is struggling.
Tis anyones guess though I guess, as he could step off at any time but I now reckon he will now complete.
