As it happens I think that people that need to use upper case are sad as well.

An upper case user, who seems to be unable to construct a sentence that enjoys seeing others losing, I have you sussed now.

I assume you take no pleasure from any of the money you may have won on here - though I do seem to recall you being mocked another forum for a SPOTY loss so maybe it's not an issue.

Now young man, why do you assume that was a loss?  The mugs mocked because they assumed it was, are you joining the mugs?

Not mocking, if it was a win then I would expect you to have enjoyed the experience at the expense of those 'mugs'. Something you suggest people shold not do - do you accept any winnings with a sense of guilt about the poor sod whose money ends up in your account - I don't think so.

I still reckon that it is bad form to point up 1.01 gubbings, no matter how stupid the 1.01 backers might be.

I don't post up my bets although i make money, so that must surely mean that I make money from mugs day on day.  But I do it gently and don't shout about 1.01 gubbings.

Shouting about 1.01 gubbings is for mugs, imo.

I disagree with Alex. A 1.01 loser is almost exactly the same as a 100 winner, and it's certainly not considered bad form to discuss/flag up winners at that price.

There are winners and losers on this site, and anyone throwing their money at 1.01s should be thick-skinned enough to take any cr*p on the forums.

Of course for every winner there is a loser.  But would you laugh at somebody face to face in the bookies or in public if they lost a short odds bet?  Bad form imo and you would get a slap if you did it on your local.

People that laugh at 1.01 gubbings probably have two traits:  1. They probably never had the b@lls to lay themselves and 2 they might be intellectually challenged but most certainly socially challenged.

I have only ever backed 1.01 once, I had it as a 1/500 shot, so thought it was over priced. And it won!

For all the 1.01 losers that are posted, thousands win! I think you can win backing 1.01's, but I personally would rather weigh up each individual market.
