Could 300km be plenty far enough for EBH??

See on the Gazzetta Dello Sport website that Haggen & Boonen came out top as most likely winners - surprised that the Italians weren't favoured more

Boasson Hagen 15.0%
Boonen 14.6%
Cancellara 14.6%
Petacchi 14.2%
Cavendish 13.0%
Pozzato 8.2%
Freire 6.1%
Bennati 5.9%
Garzelli 4.5%
Gilbert 3.9%

You can pick holes in everyone this early in the season; can Hagen last the 300km without Arveson to guide him? Does Boonen want this - 8 times he's raced with a best of 4th? Cancellara is no where near the form of last year; ditto for Cav; Petacchi will be nervous if the roads get wet.

I think someone like Ballan or Cunego just might get away this year ...
