so many inplay markets every day with next to no liquidity but bowls doesnt get any love by betfair :-(

It was not Betfair's laziness that cost you money. You could have used any number of bookies who were offering prices on this. I e mailed Betfair last week to see if they were going to cover this event and they originally said they were not going to put up markets but had a change of heart over the weekend. So you have only yourself to blame Curlywurly.

fact is myself and others make decent money on bowls - so when betfair fail to load up markets then imo it's not good enough

i agree curly although i have found it has got better for liquidity over the years especially in some of the later events than this when there is less to trade on.

you're right scarecrow - same old story though, still battling against the horce racing/football mentality

racing/football mentality is why most people lose curly on here imho anyway,there is much more value in other minority sports to try to make the game pay.

For every winner there is a loser...

jimmy on here there are probably 90 losers to every 10 winners,that ratio would narrow if more people were shrewd enough to realise that there is more value on other markets rather than horse racing with track players,fast pics,inside knowledge etc and football with very small margins on the markets making it hard to be right often enough to make it pay.

We don't want the shrewdies playing these markets...lol

I often wonder if there are many oldies that bet on the bowls on here. I can't see it, personally but then why not. My Dad even sent an email with an attachment the other week.

i am 44 years old and suspect that i am quite old for this game,i cannot see many people betting on here of that age they will all be in billy mountains set in their way i would guess.

marshall is always a good lay he is always priced on reputation like gourlay and only ever seems to turn up in form at great yarmouth i think.

we will be lucky to see more than the first set here unless they put it behind the red button later but i do not think they will myself.
