New York Mets @ Philadelphia Phillies Neither team is hitting the cover off the ball and the two pitchers tonight (Cliff Lee and Chris Young) have decent enough numbers this season, that means the Totals line is low at 7. However, both pitchers have been prone to the long ball recently and that's dangerous in Citizens Bank Park. Of the two, Lee seems to be the more solid (he k'd 12 last time out) and Young is coming back with his second start after a spell on the DL - always dangerous. Reports out of the Mets also say Young was one of the recent flu victims. If the Phils were still boasting that punch in the middle of the order I'd feel happier taking on the Totals, but both teams are barely hitting over .200 L10 against right and left handers, so I'll take the runline here...

Green Bay Packers @ Atlanta Falcons Sky Sports 4/HD4 - Sunday 1am The impregnable Georgia Dome welcomes the Pack ... and I expect the Pack to come away with the win. This will be a duel between the two QBs. Although both defenses boast very capable pass rushers – John Abraham for Atlanta and Clay Matthews for Green Bay – Rodgers and Ryan will need to test the respective secondary they face. Green Bay will have to worry about Michael Turner, because if he gets rolling, Atlanta could be as unstoppable as the human bowling ball himself. The Pack will put eight in the box to stop the run first, and they’re perfectly capable of doing it with B.J. Raji really hitting his straps. Again, this is a team that has tightened up as the season reaches its ...

Denver Broncos @ San Diego Chargers Picking this is difficult; the Bolts have been looking great, despite an offense decimated by injuries, with Rivers making a strong run for MVP - while the Broncos are hitting their straps with Orton getting it done. Denver stuck it to the Chiefs behind a solid run game, but the Chargers D ranks fourth against the run and I doubt Moreno is going to have the same joy tonight and, in any case, this is a passing offense that may well find itself behind early. Rivers should make hay against an almost non-existent pass rush and a weak secondary, whereas Orton (second only to the man he faces today in total yards) can look to Brandon Lloyd, Eddie Royal, Jabar Gaffney and even Demaryius Thomas deep if the run really does get stuffed at...
