Not a regular American Football fan so wasn't expecting to be gripped for 5 hours and you can dismiss my take as novicey (if that's a word) but it struck me that Mahomes was a matchless sportsman:- the nearest comparison for me would be Max Verstappen. I know the coach calls the plays but that can all go out of the window within half a second of open play.

anyone know what price SF went when they won the toss for OT ?? Id guess there would have been an overreaction to winning the toss in that it may have been expected that 1st TD wins. Dont agree with Shanahan in that they wanted the 3rd possession of OT.Mahomes had 4 downs for the full drive as they knew they had to score of some sort to continue game-which has to be an advantage

It was roughly evens so the market seemed well aware of the correct rules. If anything it was giving the Chiefs the edge for knowing what they had to do on their possession (pre-game the Chiefs were 2.2)
