Some interesting match-ups this week from a betting perspective - not sure I'd make the Bengals favourites over anyone just yet, while something has to give in the Jets-Broncos game arguably pitting the most disappointing offense against the most disappointing defense! I have Baltimore as stronger favourites than the market currently assesses them, but the game I'm most interested in this week is...
Houston Texans -v- Atlanta Falcons
Basically, I think there has been quite a lot of hype around Atlanta. They do have an excellent run game, with Bijan supported by more than adequate back-ups, but Desmond Ridder is not playing well at QB and my feeling is that that is going to continue to hold them back.
In the other corner, we probably have enough evidence now to suggest that Houston are a fair bit better than we all thought they would be. CJ Stroud has been throwing well enough to some fair receivers and that could be enough for them to upset the odds here.
2.10+ looks a very fair price for the Texans to bag the win.
The predictor has this as Houston Texans 24-16 Atlanta Falcons, which hopefully might not be too far away...

Not miles away but Atlanta showed plenty of resolve in the closing stages to grab the win...
Right idea, but one week too early! Ridder playing like a rookie, which he sort of is. We look destined for another 7-10 season.
