In truth, there probably isn't much between these sides whose winning records are probably a bit of a surprise to most of us.
Realistically, both may struggle to sustain their relatively high-ranking through the second half of the season, although the Giants in particular have a fairly favourable fixture list that could easily see them ending up with 10-12 wins and a post-season slot.
NYG have benefitted from a return to fitness and form from Saquon Barkley, and a more consistent (and cautious) approach from Daniel Jones who is running more and turning it over less. They lack depth at WR and RB positions though, and their most productive TE is out for a while now with an eye-socket fracture. If they are going to maintain their progress, they will probably need to consider trading for at least one RB and one receiver before the deadline.
They do however have a high-performing and solid-looking defense, and this has been the vital element that has enabled then to go 6-1 with an impressive sequence of tight-game victories. An upgrade to their offensive weapons would make them look a very dangerous outfit.
Meanwhile, Seattle have been hugely entertaining, scoring a shedload of points but also giving up plenty too. Geno Smith has looked like a decent and more confident QB now he has stepped out of the Wilson shadow, and generally they have been refreshingly un-Seahawk like.
There seems to be slightly more upside for the Giants' offense than the Seahawks' defense here - I'd rate it a bit more likely that New York can get more forward fluidity than Seattle's defense suddenly developing more resolve.
It is an away game for NYG, but home advantage has generally meant little in recent years, and in a game that looks close to a fifty-fifty call, it makes sense to back the clear underdog if there is one. For me, New York should be about 10/11 joint favourites, but they are available at close to 11/8 which looks like value.
The selection is New York Giants to win, with the predictor giving this as New York Giants 27-22 Seattle Seahawks.

Nope nope nope. 2 fatal wounds on coughed-up returns, but Seattle played better throughout.
