Urban Meyer fired

Went around to all his assistant coaches saying "You're a loser, and I'm a winner!"

Latest revelation was that he kicked his ex -kicker, Josh Lambo, during pre season

"I’m in a lunge position. Left leg forward, right leg back," Lambo told the newspaper. "Urban Meyer, while I’m in that stretch position, comes up to me and says, ‘Hey, dips---, make your f---ing kicks!’ And kicks me in the leg."

"It certainly wasn’t as hard as he could’ve done it, but it certainly wasn’t a love tap," Lambo continued. "Truthfully, I’d register it as a five (out of 10). Which in the workplace, I don’t care if it’s football or not, the boss can’t strike an employee. And for a second, I couldn’t believe it actually happened. Pardon my vulgarity, I said, ‘Don’t you ever f---ing kick me again!’ And his response was, ‘I’m the head ball coach, I’ll kick you whenever the f--- I want.’"

There must be a lot of head coaches that really wish they could kick their kicker

How would Trevor Lawrence have done under a different HC? We'll find out next season. The biggest reason for Meyer getting fired now is surely the fact that Lawrence is not only bad but (worse still) going backwards. He's a great athlete but there is a lot to fix. At least next year's draft looks to be mainly defensive talent and linemen

I think Meyer showed himself to be (a) out of his depth, and (b) an arse.

Feel like the younger players probably counselling like kids rescued from abusive homes. Hopefully they've all kept each other sane and supported!
