Raiders obviously need a wide receiver. Odell, Renfrow and Waller would give the Raiders and very sold receiving group.

Any chance the Rams go the complete super team? They're certainly not afraid of pulling the trigger.

Broncos maybe? They have the defense and might be feeling more ambitious after today. A slightly more dynamic offense (and a bit more consistency) could see them right up there. Don't know what their finances are like though...

Not sure Odell will sign up to play with Bridgewater NV but agree about the Broncos must be feeling pretty good about themselves today and given they have draft capital after the Miller move. Well on their way back to being relevant.

That's possibly true rhino. Also, the obvious 'homecoming' to New Orleans would probably have been odds-on if they hadn't lost Jameis and their defeat this week wouldn't have helped.

Interesting to see if one of the strugglers tries to claim him, and if there's anyone down there he might not kick up a stink about. He'd be a big boost to a team like Jacksonville, NYG or Miami, but would almost certainly not see a post-season game this year...

Reportedly, he will only play for a team likely to make the play offs.
Report NonVintage November 8, 2021 7:00 PM GMT
He apparently did yes. I guess the problem might be that he has a bit of a reputation as a sulker and disruptor in the changing room, so a team that was sailing along happily towards the play-offs might not want to risk adding him... and that's assuming he clears at least the early waivers first.

Imagine if Detroit claim him. He would just announce his retirement.

This sports does seem to chew them up and spit them out pretty quick compared to other sports. Just a few years ago Odell was the second coming, then an injury and a move to a team where things didn't work out and now we're questioning whether anyone will even want him. Cam Newton another, from king of the world to outcast very quickly. Plenty of teams with issues at QB who could almost get Cam to play for free and no takers. Todd Gurley, 27 years old only and in purgatory.

NFL really does stand for NOT FOR LONG.

Former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has cleared waivers Tuesday and is eligible to sign with any team as a free agent.

Beckham wants to spend the rest of this season with a playoff contender and in a winning environment, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter earlier in the week.

Multiple teams with winning records and established offenses are expected to be interested in Beckham, sources told ESPN. Certain players already have reached out to Beckham, pitching the merits of their organization, according to sources.

Twitter has him signing for practically everybody so far. Even Manchester City might take a run at him if you believe what you read online Crazy

With injuries to AB and Gronk, would it surprise anyone if he went to Tampa? They are that team now along with the Rams.

October 13, 2019 was the last time he had 100 yards receiving in a game Shocked

Odell Beckham Jr's search for a new home is over, the three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver agreeing a one-year deal to sign with the Los Angeles Rams.

The 29-year-old teams up with Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford in Los Angeles amid their Super Bowl pursuit having been released by the Cleveland Browns on Monday before clearing waivers on Tuesday.

ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Kim Jones were the first to announce the news on social media, before the Rams confirmed it via their official team website.

Wow... interesting move. Almost certain to make the end of season and sometimes the Rams have looked really decent this season (while at others looking a bit iffy)... definitely gives them options up front!

Such a Los Angeles team now the Rams. The new Lakers.

Plus Sam Darnold now basically scrapped by the Panthers, who have signed a short-term with your favourite newly-vaccinated snappy dresser and mine, Cam Newton.
