Generally loathed to oppose Mahomes, because you just never know, BUT can't see how the Bills are being rated as underdogs here.
Everything we've seen in the last 3 weeks points to them as stronger than the Chiefs, who are struggling defensively again and look less of a unit than usual, especially when falling behind. They are still a very decent football team, but just don't look to have the belief of a year or two ago...
My (very much homemade and yet to be fully tested/refined) predictor has a 35-18 Buffalo win, which I can't really see, but I don't think 23/20 or thereabouts on the money line is worth passing up.
Interested in any views on this - are we about to see the real Chiefs, or have we seen them already?!?
Kind of agree. The Chiefs defense is taking on more water than the Titanic. Even in beating an ordinary Philly side still gave up 30 points. 2-2 on the season and their other win they barely survived against the Browns. Have had a tricky schedule but 2-2 definitely below par for them (and even with the schedule would expect to be 4-0 or at least 3-1). The offense will need to play out of their skin to beat the Bills as no reason to think Buffalo won't put points up so pressure on Mahomes and co to score a lot against a very, very good defense. Chiefs are faves purely down to home field and reputation, not anything we've seen over weeks 1-4.
Betting wise I can happily avoid this game though at least until in running. Chiefs can almost kiss goodbye home field through the playoffs with a loss, probably need 13-4 at least to finish top and that is a long road back after a 2-3 start. Might just see a response in what should be a playoff atmosphere.

Thanks casemoney... and yes, it's not going straight in the bin, but also not proof of concept just yet either. Possibly, this was just quite an obvious play using stats rather than 'backform', but I'll stick with and post up anything interesting it throws up!
