You can't assume they would make 4th down - its about 50% conversion rate. The second one was quite long for a 4th down. I think their only chance was to keep in touch and hope the defense could stop, or get a turnover.
As I said earlier, if they can't stop them then it doesn't matter if they go for it or not. They'd still lose. At some stage to beat the Chiefs you have to positive - positive in the sense your defense can come up trumps. Forget getting into a shoot-out with them. |
