Joe Burrow looks certain to go #1 to the Bengals. Let's hope he fares better than the last LSU QB to go #1 (JaMarcus Russell). The biggest knock on Burrow is he's a bit of a one year wonder - even more so than Russell - but what a year ! and he couldn't really be more different to Russell in every other respect. Average arm, very accurate, tough, a leader
Chase Young is the consensus best player in the draft. Outstanding pass rusher off the edge. He was so confident in his college tape that he didn't bother with the combine. Should go #2 at worst. The Redskins pick here and the choice looks to be Young or trade down
From #3 onwards things are less certain
The whole virtual nature of this draft, especially the lack of public pro days, could make it a bit more unpredictable than usual - some of the mocks could be well off the mark

Cast your mind back to last years draft when New York Giants took Daniel Jones with their 6th pick in the 1st round. A move that no mock draft was close to predicting.
With the 6th pick in the first round, you're surely best taking a generational type of talent / best player available at the time as opposed to just solely on what the team needs. 6 this year for example could have provided some top notch players.
The pick of Jones last year has a huge knock on effect to every subsequent pick. Teams now aware that certain players they had assumed would be taken might still be available. Some teams draft better than others, it should be great viewing.

Whenever you have a weird pick like that there always seems to be a story the next day about how some other really liked him and were going to take him if he dropped any further. My suspicion is usually the story is invented and leaked to the media by the GM whose head is on the block because he's drafted a guy who wouldn't have gone in the next 30 picks. Daniel Jones actually did better than expected in his rookie year although it still looks a reach. Most QB picks are I think. So many drafted high now that there are almost more starting QBs than teams now

Feel they've got this show wrong from the get go....got too many people on there for a kick off
How the hell Irvin is still working in television is beyond me ....never heard him say one thing of interest in all the time he's worked there ....does he even follow the college game?
Should have just stuck with DJ and Kiper with MCshay if he'd have been healthy and just have one or two others to interject with the odd comment...

That Jordan Love pick is bold to say the least. Rodgers and LaFleur had the whiff of a power struggle last year and Rodgers wasn't informed about this beforehand. Shame they're not going to be on Hard Knocks
