Brilliant drive to take that much time off the clock given the starting field position.

Cousins will have to throw it all over the place now

Or will Zimmer still be trying to 'establish the run' ?

it really isnt that compicated, once you have watched maybe 10 games you will get a good feel whats going on

I can appreciate what you're saying tho, I was the same when I first begun following it

I reckon you have to watch about 15 games to understand what everyone is trying to do.

Though still some baffling things like all those delays in the Patriots/Titans game last week. I didn't know wtf was happening.

best analogy I can think of is that its like watching high level Chess matches. So much going behind the scenes like the formations etc

cardinal...to get you going

basically a team has 4 chances to make a minimum of 10 yards otherwise the other team gets the ball

main 2 ways that teams score:
- pass or run the ball into the opposition end zone = touchdown (6 points) + a 1 or 2pt try
- ball kicked through the uprights = field goal (3 points)

Basically each team gets 4 plays to advance the ball 10 yards, either by throwing it or running with it. If they make 10 yards they get another 4 plays and so on....

its a game that takes time to pick up though
realistically half a dozen games before you can begin to fully appreciate it

Not sure about doubting Jimmy G - why pass at all when you are essentially walking it, so to speak, up and down the field.  Though I'm not conviinced - I still think he's a "franchise" QB - but not elite / top 10
