Does anyone know of a website where you can compare handicaps for a given team week to week.

My thinking is that comparing the handicap of team a v team b by what the spread has been in previous team a games against similar opponents to team b.

Apologies if that analogy makes no sense, thanks in advance!

https://imgur.com/a/K7ut5yn do you mean something like this?

Espn insider does it but they do charge. Be interested if someone knows a free version.

Exactly what I'm on about.

Let's say you think the Chiefs and Patriots are of a similar standard generally, and in a future game the Patriots were 5 point dogs visiting the Rams, you could look at last night's spread and result ats, to give a steer that the Patriots might be a decent bet.

Thoughts appreciated.

You could but you would have to adjust it for one-off events, e.g kick off/punt returns for touchdowns the sort of stuff that happens once or twice a season to a team but materially effects the spread.

Also take the Houston - Washington game you would have to keep in mind Washington lost their QB to injury partway through the game.

Very true. Surprised there isn't a free site with that info somewhere....

i think i may be well off the mark here but oddsshark gives you the spread and total for the last ten games for each team.

click on game you require.then in teams last ten games it will give score ats and what the total was.not a bad site for giving stats over for all the games and previous meetings over the years.its free which is helpful.

as i said i am probably way off the mark with what you meant

football contest records the spreads and totals according to the Westgate supercontest every week going back six seasons
https://fantasysupercontest.com/

this site shows opening/closing spreads and totals for the current season and percentage of money placed on each outcome in each game
http://www.vegasinsider.com/

click 'NFL' then 'Matchups' underneath for the current weeks fixtures
click 'NFL' the 'ATS Rankings' on the right hand side for each teams record this season straight up/ats - home/away
