I'm going to nail my colours to the mast here but I can see the Seahawks trumping Cam and the Panthers
There are too many doubts with the Carolina team (I think Vegas will settle at around 1.85 Carolina):-
1)primarily a rushing team-I cant see that working against the Seattle D. Seattle game plan will be ala Minnesosta-fill the box and make the passing game beat them
2)doubts about the receivers-bar Olson this is a moderate group
3)biggest doubt the secondary-injuries to Tillman and Benwikere make this a VUNERABLE group. I cant believe Wilson is not going to go after anyone not named Norman in that group.
4)theyve had an easy schedule.3 play off teams in 16 games.

The only significant advantage I can see and the most glaring weakness for Seattle is the O-Line but im not sure with the state of the secondary there will be as many blitzes and hence less pressure on Wilson.

I agree with you Scoobytoo. I have always fancied the Seahawks in this match-up.

although this point has really nothing to do with the game going forward and not even sure why it's mentioned but they panthers beat them 3 teams and Seattle lost to them!!!

I do think this will probably be the game of the weekend though - two very evenly matched teams imo

Not to mention Seattle should clearly be off on there holidays after a rank bad performance/lucky escape...
Hopin Seattle had all there luck, are banged up,long hard slog of a match last week before kicker choked like a dog.Panthers fresh...Panthers hopefully come out quick and get on top of hawks early...

If GB can beat Cards and it's not as improbable as you think when you look at the turovers their 17's will look like a gift as the price collapses.

I am not sure which way it will go, but I am pretty sure it will be close.  Seattle have only lost by more than a TD twice in the last 4 seasons !!

Plus Seahawks defense is on fire  right now, just allowing 1 TD in last 6 away games.

Those things add up to Seattle being able to make it close, and in a close game, they will get their chance to win it.... whether they will or not??
Report therhino January 14, 2016 9:13 AM GMT
Carolina played 4 playoff teams, not 3. They are the leagues leading scorers, so the whole doubting the receiving group should surely be dead by now, been hearing it all season and all season they score for fun. People worship the Seattle D and for good reason - one weakness of it is defending tight ends, where they rank 26th in the league. Olesen had his way with them last time. RB a real concern for Seattle, with or without Lynch. Carolina for me, pocket talking maybe, but when it's your time it's your time perhaps and it just feels like their year.

I'll take the Seahawks with the points.......that losing by more than a TD stat is unbelievable Swardean Shocked

There so much wrong with what the OP said I don't where to start in order to correct it

That's the second time in two weeks you have come onto someone's thread and acted like you're the teacher teaching the kids what's what and not on NFL.

So I did some reading back and discovered some rather ironic and amusing FACTS.

It seems Wallflower recorded your selections on here for an ENTIRE season...109 bets in total.  Your esteemed knowledge and opinion produced a LOSS of 1.19% over an entire season.  Superb work over 109 bets.

So the reality Clay - from a punting perspective your opinion has been proved to be absolutely and utterly worthless. It's worth zilch - as the reasoning behind it is loss making long term.  That might also apply to many others in here, might apply to myself, who knows but the fact is for you....it's cast iron proven, at least for the rest of us it's unknown factotum.

Based on your track record someone should be correcting every single assertion you make - as it's actually proven betting against your opinion rather than on it, would make money.

Despite this you feel you can jump on someone's thread - who actually makes completely valid and lucid points as scoobytoo has and denigrate it with the utter tosh you wrote above.

For everyone that hasn't read Clay's pre game views that are LOSS making (factually recorded for an entire season)....this is a quote from him.

And what about Russell Wilson? What a c**t of a person. Crying like a baby after the Packers game, saying it was God that helped them win!!! So Russell, does God hate Green Bay's guts then using your logic? What a pathetic little tw*t

Been on here nearly 15 years and in all that time I've never outed a person like I have with you -you don't have to reply Clay - I've never blocked anyone on the BF Forum before so you've made history being the first.

Good Luck all.

His loss are actually much more than that because judging by his MASSIVE bets on every selection he clearly has no grasp on money management.  But in reality , I don't think he bets on most of the stuff he says he does , it's imo only noise and I think he likes to be heard more so than anything else.

ClayD hates Seattle for whatever reason but often with hilarious outcomes Silly
while the kind of post you have highlighted is a bit out of order at least he has the balls to put his views up pre game.
he can be a bit abrasive but he takes plenty flak back and the threads are always good for a bit of banter.
Report dlarssonf January 14, 2016 12:19 PM GMT
We have different idea's of banter then but Clay certainly doesn't bring any for me, in fact the opposite , just mouths off Sad.

As for reasoning he certainly doesn't bring anything new, just picks a team that he loves and pulls a few stats to back that up ignoring stats that aren't in his favour. Any idiot can do that in fairness

Really don't know what to make of this game. I have never been a believer in the Panthers, but 15-1 tells a story. Can't help thinking back to this stage two years ago, when Carolina came up short against San Francisco. Seattle are a team, I am always reluctant to oppose in big games, but they are fortunate to be here. Zero points on the board, when a poor snap sets up a touchdown against Minnesota. When guarding a narrow lead, they allow Minnesota - in no way a formidable offence - to move down the field to set up a chip shot. Don't think I can give this team of destiny talk any thought. Don't know the stats on 27 yard field goals, but the numbers must reflect the fact that the miss shocked everyone. It will be great viewing chaps, but from a betting point of view it's too tough to call for me.

presume BM will start..how well he can run and whether he lasts 60 mins is moot
don't rate pete carroll..do rate wilson
hawks shouldn't be here but are and you know what..think they will explode out of the traps and muller the panthers
Cam will throw at least 2 picks
GB somewhat flattered by their margin of victory over  a defenceless(as in having zero defence) skins
won't get slaughtered by the cards but won't prevail
seattle will do the cards as well and whoever comes thru from the AFC(even if it's the cheatriots) ain't got a prayer

so back the panthers and the AFC to win the SBWink

My opinion also.

That stat about the seahawks not losing by more than a touchdown more than 2 times is crazy.
