still has me laughing and also confused. Honestly the most bizarre thing I have ever seen in the NFL.
Chuck Pagano ( this aside ) should be given the bullet because the Colts haven't improved one bit under him. He will be gone at the end of the season though!!
I don't mind a trick play and surprised we don't seem more attempted. However this was so poorly executed.
When everyone shifted right, they hoped that would leave unmarked players in the middle. It didn't and in fact they were outnumbers. Should have just took TO then an punted. Instead they snapped it (which this also fluffed), and it was all over.

Yes Chelters the butt fumble was legendary alright but for me this well surpasses it!!!
@ Swardean - I love trick plays myself but they are really so hard to execute in today's NFL. That colts play was a disaster , not one player knew what the other was doing, they didn't even know what they were trying to do
One Score game , in the third quarter , a trick play shouldn't even have been considered , it was punt time all day long

They had been working on this play since LAST year .....would love to see a trick play that they only install the week before the game ..the mind boggles

dlarssonf, the thing is with trick plays, they tend to work best when no-one is expecting them (i.e. in the above scenario). For me the Rams are the kings of trick plays
