Yes that was also a stupid decision, he doesn't even have to take the hit he could've just dropped and have himself up.
On the first point though, I can understand wanting to burn the 40 seconds if say for example you're a point ahead, but being three ahead and a chance to.make it a two possession game with less than two minutes to go surely you try and get the TD in that spot.
