The key in week one is to avoid getting carried away. It has been a long time coming and as a consequence of this the lines are well established with little variation. I like the look of two home underdogs in a modest stakes double. Washington plus 3.5, St Louis plus 4.People appear to be falling over themselves to detail just what a terrible season Washington will have. In contrast Miami are a team that people are hot on. The mega bucks signing of Suh has grabbed a lot of attention, but as Miami have found out free agents don't always deliver what their price tag entitles you to perhaps expect. Washington have made the right decision with Cousins, and I expect the team to rally around him and play hard. Mention of the word hard brings us to Seattle going to St Louis. Jeff Fisher is without doubt a fantastic coach, and I like his chances of devising a way of at least keeping this close. With questions about the offensive line Seattle would like to have avoided starting in St Louis. With a game in Green Bay next week you have to wonder if Seattle will be quite as focused as their hosts. To my mind these factors combine to make St Louis an underdog worth getting with.

Would disagree with Fisher being a fantastic coach Bankit......just an average coach for me who seems to get an easy ride off the media

Hi Grayhawk. Think Fisher's biggest misfortune in St Louis has been the transformation of the NFC West into the hottest division in football in his time there. Think the progress he has overseen is perhaps not  recognised because of this.QB remains a major problem, and presumably like yourself I don't think getting rid of Bradford, to replace him with Foles was a great move.

I think getting rid of Bradford was a great move - he has never been fit and pretty useless to the Rams.  Not saying Foles is anywhere near the answer but getting rid of Bradford was the right thing to do and puts it to bed once and for all.

The Rams have been using the "when Bradford is back things will get better" for too long now plus imo I don't think he is all that anyway
