Apologies for not getting this up sooner but had some computer issues. Here we are again at my favourite time of the year - xmas and college football - fantastic 
Keeping the rules simple: 1 point for getting the match odds correct and 1 point for getting the hcap correct. A bonus point for getting both right. For the very first playoff year I think we should add a little incentive to get those choices correct. So, 2 points will be available for the match odds and hcap line in the semis. 5 points available in the final on each line. Bonuses for getting both the ML and hcap right will also carry 2 and 5 points respectively. I figure this gives some incentive to anyone that is trailing towards the end of the comp and keeps it competitive.
Any questions, jut put them up here.

Yeah I agree, they probably felt it was theirs for the taking at that point.
Personally I would've kicked the extra point and gone to OT. Sometimes I see the logic for going for the kill with the 2-point conversion, like if you're an inferior team, defense is tired, etc. But with the way that game was going, with Western Kentucky completely rattled (and with a bad kicker I may add - potentially a factor in OT), I liked the Chippewas chances in the overtime. Ah well, great ending nonetheless. Love bowl games like that. |
