The Bengals, the Patriots and the New Orleans Saints are 8-0 at home this season despite having tougher schedules than the Seahawks who are 7-1 at home. So I guess the Bengals, Pats and Saints' 12th man must be better huh? Plus Green Bay won in Seattle last season (don't anyone dare insult my intelligence by suggesting otherwise).
I think the majority of NFL followers would agree that the new stadium in Seattle is now the biggest home field advantage in football.
And I`ll insult your intelligence and inform you that Green bay didn`t win in Seattle last season. If they had done I would have won thousands. Cheated, YES but they didn`t win.

The Saints didn't lose at the weekend because of the '12th man' rubbish. In fact the crowd didn't play a much of a part in the Saints' downfall. The '12th man' meant absolutely nothing to Arizona. But the Superdome in New Orleans.....now that is a home field advantage if ever there was one

that "garbage" would come mainly from the media although judging from the number of wasted time outs from visiting teams this term (2 from the saints on saturday) thinking the crowd are not a big factor would be foolish. fair to say that SF go into the game looking in better form though and i think it will still be in the balance right up to the 2min warning. time outs remaining will be crucial, that is where the "12th man" thing could be a factor.

If their was a 12th man it's the influence of the crowd on the umps to constantly ignore blatant pass interference, holding, and other illegalities that the Seahawks D gets away with. of course, those same journalists call it 'playing tough'.

Niner? No I'm a Bear. Shows how much you know. Any unbiased NFL fan can see the 49ers got some shocking calls from the officials tonight. You are just showing yourself up to be a typical bias moron who is out of your depth though when it comes to debating sport. Still, given your username and the football team you support it's not a surprise really is it.
