Chargers -
.......won 5 in row .......have beaten Broncos twice this year .......Broncos have had over 400 yds of offense in 14 of 16 matches this year...the 2 they haven't?... both games vs Chargers .......Chargers lead the league in time of possession, keep this up and Manning won't be on the field as much as normal .......the "scary" first Eagles home opponent wins Superbowl last 4 or 5 years ....this year was San Diego ChargersStill think the Broncos win it though .....but closer than you'd think - wary of Manning in play-offs anyway. |

Everybody talks about value when it comes to betting ? Clay is betting against a -8 line. That is a line set by a linemaker who is a million times better at setting a line then Clay, with more contacts, algorithms, computing power at his disposal.
Every point Clay makes has been considered and built into the line. If you are going against the handicap, you must have something that you apply more weight to then the LM does. That's it. It's not complicated. Manning has all his weapons available to him for the first time since the beginning of December Thank you Clay, the LM knows that, and it's built into the line. I felt there was only one team that wanted to win that game Good FG. Stop it Clay. My ribs are hurting. With all his weapons available to him, I think Denver will score at least 30 points Better tell the LM that. Wait. Don't bother. He thinks that too. How do I know ? The O/U is about 54, the handicap is 8. Figure it out. The Chargers have been successful recently by keep the ball out of Rivers' hands. My ribs, my ribs. Let's keep the offense off the field. Clay thinks that is the SD game plan. He only threw for 160 yards last week A 5 second fact check shows his yardage was worse then that, and Clay can't even get his figures right. Rivers actually threw for 128 yards, but was 75% He didn't have to do any more. SD won. Clay thinks this is a detriment. Clay picks Denver at -8 based on faulty facts. I don't care if you pick Denver or not. I do care about how you continually spew garbage. |

... apologies, you are right Roger.....had it my head they had beat them at home earlier as well. Should have checked. Thx.
As I said, I'd still go with Broncos - anyone would be hard-pushed not to in Mile High - just hope for entertainment purposes its close. It will be interesting if the Chargers are right in it. Could happen as I think the Chargers were very very good against Bengals - I think they would have won even if the Bengals (ie. Dalton) hadn't imploded, and I rated the Bengals . |

Lucky it wasn`t Clay that got that big fact wrong !

Nice jab Mac. If it was Clay that got that fact wrong, I'd be celebrating because it would only be one. About 10% of the usual.
