(only joking, Clay

... but the only people who can do this are Colts backers!!|

PEOPLE SEEM TO FORGET THAT COLTS WERE TERRIBLE MID SEASON, THE WIN AT KANSAS MEANS NOTHING AS KANSAS ALREADY HAD THE PLAYOFFS IN THE BAG AND ANDY REID TOOK OFF HIS STARTERS BEFORE THE END OF THAT GAME.
I AGREE I THINK KANSAS WILL WIN THIS GAME BUT I LIKE THE OVER HERE |
|
By:
Yep, but only when game was gone.....and winning division was still a real possibility.
Not disagreeing..... as I fancy Kansas, just surprised at how many people do as well. |
|
By:
I'm shocked at the moneyline move from earlier in week, rare that you see an early dog move from 11-10 to touch 4-5 in a play off game.
I've played on over 22.5 and 23.5 the Kansas City points. Lets get the weekend started ![]() |
|
By:
jeez, I thought as per opening post Colts were only 2pt favourites....but after reading grayhawks post I've realised Chiefs are actually 2 pt favourites
.This could be a roller-coaster ![]() |

well i'm going for colts
- chief ain't won a playoff game in last 7 - colts whooped chiefs this seasom - colts have better quarterbacks - rest ain't good at this point in time... need game time and match sharpness - home crowd advantage good luck all |
|
By:
not sure Gwladys....might be someone on here closer to kick-off who knows more
|

If Wallflower's competition was pick one way or the other, I'd have to go Colts - Chiefs went 11-5 without being particularly stand-out about it, suppose it's all about wins on the board, even if you're up against dross.
But the Colts getting shellacked by the Rams, Cards and Bengals this year is still very fresh in my memory as well. So I dunno. Will be a watching brief for most of this I think. Gwladys - Firstrow will have streams. http://firstrowsports.co/football |

Looks to be not much between them. I favour The Colts.
1. Home Field Advantage. 2. The teams they beat this year, Seattle and Denver at home, 49ers and Chiefs away. They had Reggie Wane for the first 3 of those wins, but then T.Y. Hilton and Griff Whalen stepped up in the win away to the Chiefs. 3. We don't know how effective Tamba Hali & Justin Houston are gonna be coming back off injuries for The Chiefs. The one thing I'm concerned about is the amount of questionable starter injuries the Colts have, especially on the D-line! |
|
By:
milla - you'll be ok, as most people are going for kansas (me included) they'll be -2 for the match if Colts win, whereas your no-call mean you'll be +1 if Colts win - so you gain on the field anyway if colts win....and don't lose too badly if they don't.
(Introduced the "no call" in the last competition - makes winning through guessing harder, and its good discipline for all on here (assuming they have an interest in gambling) that the "no-bet" is essential as part of an overall winning strategy!) |

Signing in for the playoffs, good luck everyone!

good luck as well Swardean......... if they are anything like last year it should be great
. I messed-up last year - had about 20% return on stakes on bets up until Week 14 - finished off at 5% loss by Week 17. Over-confidence and bad bank management..... then the play-offs and had my best month ever....all the comebacks ![]() . Anquan Boldin .Same approach, nobble around the edges get some small or medium profit.....and if so.... half on the first team to hit 8/9 to 1 or higher. Repeat and rinse. |

I've also gone for the Packers and the Saints to win, so I'll probably be boned after this week whatever happens
![]() Did actually ponder four no-calls for an easy 4pts, since there'll be at least one surprise result this week, but where's the fun in that? For a bit of interest I'm on (although very small, admittedly) both QBs to hit their respective overs tonight Luck >240.5 at 1.74 Smith >234.5 at 1.98 No real logic or reasoning behind it, but why not? |
|
By:
Haven't had a bet on any of the wildcard games yet, just watching and enjoying. Hope they are all bruising encounters as my teams all have a week off this week
|
|
By:
Luck was over 240.5 in 4~8 home games.
Smith over 234.5 only 2~8 in away games. |

......... you've reason to be in a funny mood.........Pack so so lucky to be in the play-offs - you thank us Eagles....mind you hope the Pack beat the 49ers, but doubt it....defense is shockingly bad, and 49ers are running the ball a lot (not so confident in Kaepernick) which will be a plus in Lambeau I think. |

From the excellent blog at http://ukusbetting.blogspot.co.uk/
I don't like teams resting starters (although I appreciate that if there was ever an exception, it would be Jamaal Charles, whose workload is extraordinary) but it always makes me nervous about the team's rhythm and momentum. The Chiefs did so last week and have also looked poor down the stretch, so I have to favour the Colts here. The problem is, Charles may tear it up tonight against an Indianapolis run defense that has struggled against the run - it should be noted that the defense in general has improved of late and factors into the pick. I like the Overs too, with the Chiefs taking their foot off the pedal last time these teams met, and the Colts enjoying the emergence of a ground game and TY Hilton proving a capable deep threat. Pick: Indianapolis Colts @ 2.2 Pick: Over 46 @ 1.91 Pick: 1st TD Donald Brown @ 12 Pick: Anytime TD TY Hilton @ 2.5 |

Colts for Dirk!
A lot of faith in Luck, and the Colts finished a whole better than KC did, who have not convinced me all year. Home Field for the Colts. Will be looking for a treade though first and foremost. G/L all. ![]() - 26 tommorow! ![]() |

Wallflower.... Pack are in the playoff cos of the Lions stinking the joint out down the stretch and Da Bears having a defence every bit as bad as the Packers'.One and done tomorrow against a team built like a cold weather team..... Packers defensive front will have no answer to the Niners offensive line.....Will have to win on offence if they want to advance. |

Colts 31-20 for moi

By:
I didn't quite understand why the colts have drifted so much during the week and reasonable simple from my perspective, would have been a 50/50 call on a neutral field for me so getting better than even money on the colts at home seems a very fair price considering how they have finished and their respective records.
|

Kaepernick NEVER played in temperatures below freezing.......evens things up a bit.
heard a good quote on "Mike and Mike"..some ex-players discussing....."you can get used to the cold, but you never get used to playing in the cold"! |
