Swardean, I thought they did..(could be wrong)...was the origination of the spread to position it in such a way that there was an equal amount on each team (margin built in then obviously)?
As Still Standing says, then if more is being put on one team, the price rises or drops accordingly. Its not who oddsmakers in Vegas actually think is the true position but more accurately what is the point at which there will be equal (or close to) amount on each team? |
