His actual record in games played at 40 degrees or lower is actually 10-11, 471-750 (62%) for 5,475yds (32TD, 28INT) with an overall QB rating of 83.5. 2 games were at Home and 19 Away.

Just curious. What qualifies as "my own stats ", and how did the writer at milehighreport use almost the exact same stats in a recent article.

Probably because they are correct and like I, he is a competent sports statistician. "Almost the same" though you state, so he must have got something wrong.

PS. You would be surprised how much money I have made selling "my own stats" to global sports publications over the years, long before the arrival of computers and the internet.

id imagine its a coincidence just cos he plays more cold games away. is his "cold" road record much different to his "non-cold" road record?
plus the strength of opponents comes into it. you could say a soccerball team loses a lot more often when they travel to lancashire than when they travel to yorkshire. but its probably just cos lancashire has better teams! the stat for cold weather games is irrelevant without being able to compare it to other road games at teams of a similar stature. |
