Good-ish profit for the season, but not spectacular.....a return of about 9% in total for the season so far. What would you have?
Little disappointed as it my best market (in term of % return as opposed to total returns)....had a big loss last night on the Bronco/Cowboys, over-staked and lost 13% of my bank (was a very small green and started messing!).....I didn't trust Romo, but thought he'd get closer before the inevitable interception/fumble, but he did it straight away . But then I had some big trades on the 49ers / Texans and got practically all of it back....Even though I was successful, I've been kind of giving out to myself since. I'm too experienced at this stage to have gone chasing a bit like that.Anyway, back to slow and steady. It was about the same last season, but I had an incredible post-season...just routinely layed teams as they hit 1.12 and there was comebacks everywhere - so that kind of artificially inflated profits last year. Just a hobby for me so I don't do stats and Profit figures.
Any profit I get, i plough into the SB market for the hope of a nice holiday etc.. I hope to be able to get to the SB one day. I am currently sitting with just under £1k in the SB market (mainly on the Colts, 49ers and Saints) so it has been a decent season so far. I stake £100 per bet and focus on odds against. |

I don't get involved in SB market until mid-season.
Its very tricky as it stands. I think the Packers are very serious contenders, more so than Saints. Wait and see on the Chiefs but I'm very impressed by Patriots who I think will improve. I'm very unsure about 49ers - (they are a bully, which is a compliment, a good thing) but the way they were beaten-up by the Colts and Seahawks has stuck with me. (Mark Schlereth, great analyst imo, says they were like a school-yard bully who when they got their nose bloodied by the Colts went crying to the teacher ). I think they look impressive when beating-up on teams - but really don't like being physically challenged. No such worries for the Seahawks. |

I like the Packers but Clay Matthews injury is a worry.
I have backed them the last few years but they seem to pick up more injuries than anyone else. |
