saints and seattle unbeaten, atlanta only loss to saints, niners lost to seattle, these are the main contenders so that stat not relevant

It will be close enough either way, to make the afc vs nfc thing meaningless - which it is. The average standard is pretty much the same.

average standard yes,but the top 5 teams in the nfc far stronger, this is because they think texans are the 2nd best team in afc again, this says it all

we are talking about which conference is the best.  the strongest contenders are nfc teams,no picking of stats just facts.

this is the worst patriots team in years, the last few years they have been favs to win it and fallen short, the price now is still ridiculously short, apart from denver the contenders are very weak.

Poor or not, the Pats will be in the AFC championship game IMO

Thoughts on the late game?

I'm saying the following:

- The "afc is pathetic" remark is a bit wide of the mark (especially since they lead the nfc head-to-head 9-1 atm!)
- The which conference is stronger is pointless - average standard is the same contenders
- Superbowl Contenders -  Currently? Broncos, Patriots, 49ers, Seahawks, Packers, Falcons, Saints, (I don't think Texans are). So 4-2 Nfc.....ya-de-dah, teams will come from nowhere from either conference...(by the way Bengals just beat one of the big NFC "contenders"Shocked). This could and will probably change. Could be 4-4, 1-6....who knows

Also, if Denver Broncos win the Superbowl, it doesn't mean anything about afc/nfc, likewise if Seahawks win in terms of nfc/afc

Seattle have an incredibly soft schedule
By:
HARRY22
When: 22 Sep 13 23:47
Toughest game is the saints but that is at home, then the niners game away but they should be in better form than they are now.  Seattle last season had all the tough teams at home.
By:
HARRY22
When: 22 Sep 13 23:48
they have atlanta away also, never easy place to win.
By:
Swardean
When: 22 Sep 13 23:50
They owe Atlanta after last year.   Impossible to have a completely easy schedule but I am sure the would take it.

Put a fork in 49ers, they are done!

This colts offence will only get better, colts and bengals could easily knock off this average patriots team in the playoffs, expect bengals and colts to make the playoffs

Niners are superbowl contenders, very much so. Nothing has changed,I am talking about the nfc west,it will be done and dusted next week if seattle win.

I have saints in a treble, with the bengals and seattle for the divisions.  How I would like this miami win.
By:

When: 22 Sep 13 23:58
Indeed they should be 2-1 (unbelievable loss last week) and the other one was a close one against seattle, a team to watch IMHO

not sure how good this colts defence is.
By:

When: 23 Sep 13 00:01
Such a good defence carolina and they let a rookie qb go the full length for the touchdown, that was poor
By:
Swardean
When: 23 Sep 13 00:03
They have the worst winning record of any team in games within 7pts.   I think they are just nervous and will overcome.   They played great against the bills apart from the final drive.  Bills never ahead until 2 seconds left!
