agree with the falcons. not looked at the odds, but presumed theyd be about 3 point favs.
watched both of their games so far, really inconsistent but still nearly beat the saints away and were in full control against the rams until they started going through the motions. admittedly, not seen much of the dolphins yet, but on paper they dont have the weapons atlanta have. hard to see miami running away with it, if they win it's likely to be by a few points. but its possible atlanta could roll them over. for that reason alone atlanta should really be the favourites. |

Injuries will be influencing the Falcons line a little.......Steven Jackson out for 2-4 weeks and top linebacker Weatherspoon to that temporary IR as well as Biermann to the season IR....Asante Samuel possibly out as well.

Has there ever been a home side in NFL that is over 20-1? Jags to go 0-16?
|
|
By:
I can't have the Bears at all - how on earth they are 2-0 I will never know. They should be 0-2 - very very lucky to have won both games
|
|
By:
i am also on the top 2 and cannot for the life of me understand the lines
|
|
By:
and i hadn't seen the Packers line
![]() are they taking the Michael? |
|
By:
I don't recognise those lines, surely they've no shifted?
|
|
By:
No they're all still there or thereabouts - maybe 0.5pt shift one way or the other in some of them. You can get Falcons +3.0 now which is a gift (albeit it at 5/6 instead of 10/11 but for an extra point I'd sacrifice some profit

The Falcons look a team to avoid this week... up against a frisky Dolphin D (9 sacks and 18 batted balls already). Atlanta can't run (with or without Jackson imo) and their star wide receivers are dinged up.
Their D is in even worse shape with the loss of Weatherspoon and Biermann.... they couldn't get to Bradford once last week (55 dropbacks.... count 'em!!), so I doubt Tannehill will be having any sleepless nights. Miami 21-13 looks good to me ![]() |

Going to lump on the Pack moneyline. Will look at bet365 handicap if Bengals score first.

i imagine jagwahs beating seattle would be the shock of the century. seattle currently in the overrated category, dont get me wrong id have put em in the top 3 in the NFC before the season started but a win at home to the 49ers has tilted them over the edge a bit too much. no way that 1 win should have seen them drop from 11.0 to 7.0 for the superbowl. just like the 49ers win over the packers shouldnt have made them drop in similar fashion. that said, seattle are near invincible at home, jags are almost certainly the worst team in the league. nobody in their right mind would bet an nfl team at 1.04 before it even starts, but id be struggling to make a case for the jags with a 30pt handicap.
![]() anybody seen the betfair handicaps? seem to have gone awol this week. unless my pc is going bandy. |

>>>I wouldn't touch the Falcons today, I don't like them on the road and they have injuries. Packers are a far better bet. The Bengals aren't facing a team averaging 10 pts a game this week. Dalton was pretty awful last week, the little RB they had was the difference vs the Steelers, who are piss poor anyway. Although the Saints contrived to let me down with my bet of the week last week, Saints -3. (Payton the teat took 3 points off the board at the end of 1st half) - I think Packers -2.5 is a stonking bet. |

gone for Lions, Packers, Falcons and Charges all on the handicap and be rude not to put it a 4 way.
|

It is already must win game for both giants and panthers. Having watched all the games involving these two teams this season I think Carolina are must likely to break their duck. Only serious bet of the day for me. Panthers SU.
Will have an interest bet on the live games. good luck everyone today. |
|
By:
i remember you were keen on the panthers.
Cam Newton is going to need to raise his game as he has been awful think i would rather take Eli and his receivers tbh Panthers D has been good though |
|
By:
Agreed, Can can only get better, but the team hasn't been that bad. Kept it close against Seattle and were far better than bills last wk and really should have had a road win.
The defense is is OK and being led by your man Kuechly. If they lose tonight, I will accept I was wrong about them, as I thought they had a chance of the division. Seattle in eliminator tonight. Not many left if they or Denver get beat |

I built this data table to help me with teams and how they do on the spreads. Need loads of work but gives you a quick snapshot of who are doing well and not so well on the spreads.
Thinking of putting points in to this as well! http://eim-bi.com/nfl/index.cfm |

Packers to beat the Bengals (I managed to get 4/5 M/L and have gone in again -2.5 points at 20/21 I think it was). I can only see Rogers having an absolute field day and think the defence will do enough to ensure a comfortable win for the Packers.
Steelers to beat the Bears (6/5). I agree with the overview by ClayDavies on another thread. I have also backed the Steelers to win the division at 5/1, they might kick start their season in this match and I don't it's a very strong division. Double (pays around 5/2-11/4) 49ers (-9/5 points) I expect them to put last week behind them and take this convincingly Cowboys (-3.5 points) I think the Cowboys will get the job here and almost be impressive ![]() Good luck chaps. |

By:
What a play by Matthews.
|
|
By:
Omg glad I didn't jump off the bridge!
Comedy central at Cincinatti. After you Claude. Packers gift 2 TD's and Bengals doing their best to return the favour but Packers saying no no no, you go then finally they can't turn down another gift turnover TD on third straight TO from Bengals! Mortimer we are back in business ![]() |
|
By:

By:
LOL!!! Tinothy Dalton fumbles again!!!
|

4 TO's in 9 offensive plays by Bengals and I was worried by packers giving it away!

Shaping up to bee a god one in Washington.
|
|
By:
good shout on panthers
giants have been absolutely woeful not sure cam newton will take them very far this season though |
|
By:
So far so good, they have totally dominated and shut elk down. Agreed defence doing the bulk of the work. Trading out now. Good luck with faLcons later.

Guess harry will be happy with the Houston result! :-)
