Hi chaps,

Andrew Luck seems like my kind of guy, no FACEBOOK and no TWITTER, I usually tune out player interviews (little piece on NFL.COM) as they're boring and unenlightening but he seems like a really grounded and committed player. You're not going to see him making an arse of himself in a bar, or a **** of himself on social media. A QB to have on your side for a long time.

naughty finers must be happy to only be 5 down, couldnt have played much worse really.
Report Wallflower September 16, 2013 4:06 AM BST
I don't think its a poor game.  Probably too many penalties admittedly, but I love low-scoring defenses-on-top type of contests contests. Seattle defense is very very impressive tonight.
Report artixx September 16, 2013 4:08 AM BST

Report ClayDavis September 16, 2013 4:11 AM BST
Have Seattle sussed CK out?
Report Wallflower September 16, 2013 4:15 AM BST
I don't specifically think so. To me its just that Seattle secondary is so good, that CK can't throw when he wants to. Pretty simple, basic, rather than a plan to counter CK
Report Bravely bold Sir Robin September 16, 2013 4:16 AM BST
wow, that was lucky

Report Swardean September 16, 2013 4:38 AM BST
Wallflower is correct, even man to man, the seahawks secondary can easily cover 49ers.  Leaves them 8 up front to cover gore and kaep.  Same last week, although 0-2 panthers are ok but they could not move it against this team.

Its getting embarrassing for Kaep.  Deep in 4th quarter.  96 yards and 2 interceptions.  49ers have not yet been in the seattle redzone.

Report HARRY22 September 16, 2013 12:37 PM BST
Was like watching last years game, easy win for them, even the game in san fran was close and seattle could have easily won that one,not sure it changes much in the superbowl market, niners will just hope another team takes care of seattle, obviously they don't match up with them
Report d13phe September 16, 2013 12:51 PM BST
you can get the Falcons +2 at Miami next Saturday

this has to be the bet of the year so far!
Report Swagger September 16, 2013 1:04 PM BST
I think the Falcons picked up a number of injuries yesterday d13phe, maybe that is the reason why?
Report Swagger September 16, 2013 1:06 PM BST
Does anyone know if Green Bay picked up any significant injuries as I would have them as very strong favs against the Bengals yet could get around evens?
Report HARRY22 September 16, 2013 1:08 PM BST
The north looks a horrible division this season, the bengals price looks reasonable, won't be saying that if they lose tonight Shocked
Report Swagger September 16, 2013 1:16 PM BST
Green Bay have impressed me this season and the Defence has looked better than I thought. I was expecting Green Bay to be heavy odds on against the Bengals but maybe I have called it wrong. Tampa Bay Bucks look big at 4/1+ against the Pats, if they cut out the brainless penalties they would have a chance
Report Swagger September 16, 2013 1:26 PM BST
I'll have a bit on the Steelers to contain the handicap tonight, + 6.5 points looks fair given their record against the Bengals and their Defence is still pretty strong even with a few injuries.
Report d13phe September 16, 2013 1:35 PM BST
not a game to call this steelers/bengals imo

the points total looks on the low side and my go even lower in running.

both sides are going to have to throw the football a lot imo
Report Swardean September 16, 2013 2:22 PM BST
Will have a look at that Atlanta bet.   I see the impotent Jags have to go to seattle next week and face that defence.   Could get nasty.

Not getting too carried away with Seahawks last night, as harry says they obviously match up well to 49ers and seem to have a plan for kaep.  Howevwer, they have the players to execute that plan and not may other team will.

Despite 0-2 I still think Panthers are ok and I like them on the hcap next week.

No bets tonight, still tired from last night, so early night.
Report Swardean September 16, 2013 2:25 PM BST
The Paddy power offer of money back on your selection if Broncos or 49ers win SB is looking if you fancy a few quid on Seattle.
Report HARRY22 September 16, 2013 3:08 PM BST
I bet the jags pose more of a threat to that secondary than the 49ers did, the jags have a few speed receivers, all about match ups most of the time, wide open season again.  10+ teams have a shot apart from the texans Wink
Report HARRY22 September 16, 2013 3:10 PM BST
It was hard to disagree last season seattle have the best defence, could argue it was baltimore during the playoffs as they were on fire, looks business as usual for this D.   Interesting how they would cope if they lost a key player in the secondary
Report d13phe September 16, 2013 3:48 PM BST
Interesting one on the Panthers.

Cam Newton looks totally impotent.

Not willing to leave the pocket as he was in the first year.

I think they are going to really struggle personally.
Report casemoney September 16, 2013 6:24 PM BST
The most shyte first half i ever watched last night, hours breaks for weather dont help imo ,hawks d very impressive 2nd half
9ers were basically destroyed ,wont be too many if any winning at hawks ,i want be watching too many of their home games tbh Laugh have to see how 9ers come out of the game was hard to believe was same team as last week ,gore was actually useless,
kaep just appeared clueless, hawks secondary was unreal ,penalties ruin the spectacle of the sport 300 plus is rediculous might
well be worth going long on pens any games at hawks ,as no fecker can actually hear anything ..Laugh
Report Swagger September 16, 2013 7:44 PM BST
Equally it shouldn't be forgotten that Seattle scraped past the Panthers last week. Obviously they are exceptional at home but the jury is still out when they venture away against the top sides for me
Report Swagger September 16, 2013 7:45 PM BST
And as Harry said, it's all about match ups. There are quite a few teams I would fancy to beat Seattle if you take away their home field advantage
