There is NEVER a sure thing in gambling, but here goes:
Take 5% of your total bank and bet it on N.O. Saints moneyline @ 1.64.
Wait for the price to drop down to about 1.22, and GET OUT.
What could happen ? The bet goes as planned, Aints are always winning, you trade out as a winning gambler would, thank you for the easy 2%.
Tampa wins, but you would have had a chance to trade out for your 2% win, but don't. Then this bet is considered a win, and you're an idiot.
The game is tight and NO wins in the last second, then consider yourself lucky because you've won 5% less commission.
Tampa goes wire to wire, your bet was dead all day because the Aints never lead. Then you lose your bet, that's gambling, and I'm the idiot. But this idiot will be back at it on another game because losing 5% isn't going to break me.
Good luck tomorrow, obviously this bet, and IMO, every bet on the exchange has to be watched all day. BF is not for placing a bet and forgetting about it.

So, spamBoy, I've posted up 2 bets, including a live in play one yesterday. You don't know that I also had Bama ( have you had time to google them yet to know who they are ) @ 1.21, then more @ 1.12, then out at 1.05, then in again at 1.03, them more at 1.05, then finally out at 1.01. Not the best of days because of low liqidity, but I bet it was at least 10,000 spammer banner clicks worth. I didn't have to dupe anybody, and WTF, it was only a couple jours work. So you had a 100 to 1 shot the other day. Go ahead and aftertime, post it up. Let us all see the quality of that great pick. What are the great free NFL picks for this week, or are you sworn to never tell, because to get them, suckers have to sign up ? Ha ha ha ha. Definitely on something. Where did I brag that I won 400? I found a website offering FREE bets from some internet bookies that even I, with 30 betting accounts, hadn`t heard off and I took advantage of the offers and got 400 in bonuses for nothing. I posted a link thinking that some on here would appreciate it and I get verbally attacked as a "spammer".

You're right, 5% isn't going to break anyone, but that's my point. Who has the discipline to only bet 5%, and settle for a 2% win. Especially important betting the NFL because of the wild price swings. But then I probably shouldn't be talking about discipline because here I am betting in week 2 of the NFL, where it's mostly just dart throwing. I usually hold off until week 4, but this game was such a standout for a trade, I couldn't resist.
I got out early in the 3rd after NO scored a FG, @ 1.15. I think they may have gone down to 1.09 If I had held the bet to the end, I wouldn't have won 5%, only 3.3% Betting only 5% is hard to do. It was for piddling amounts several years ago, now betting 5% and winning 2% isn't so hard to take. My numbers were a bit off in my opening post, I wrote it without putting too much effort into it. |
