Nah Pittsburgh are gonna have a terrible season. 8/1 bottom of the table thank you very much.
By:
In a division with the Browns, that's a brave bet.
By:
I'm hoping the Browns will somehow manage to be a bit less shiit and nick a few wins. 8/1 worth the risk.
By:
Pittsburgh are too good at home for that.

I expect Coughlin to walk round the back of the tent, pull out his revolver and blow out whatever may be left of his brains after this performance by the Giants. They are a disgrace surely he has no will to live anymore. Got to feel sorry for him! |

Indeed Beaniash. A win is a win. I think it was just important for the Cowboys to win to overcome the whole voodoo of continually losing to the Giants at home etc. They got jumpy in the last quarter and let them back in. My own assessment of the Cowboys was mixed. I thought for the best part of three quarters the Cowboys Defence was very good except for the one brainless blown coverage. Then late on in the 3rd quarter and in the 4th quarter the Defence got sloppy, gave up too many cheap plays which was disappointing but then the Giants always have big plays in the locker even when they are way off their game. At least the Cowboys showed they have some sort of offensive weapons when Dez is a marked man but admittedly i was disappointed with the Cowboys offense on the whole. Despite all the criticism I thought Romo had a solid match and the pick looked like the fault of the receiver. Still I expected more from the Cowboys. I do think a lot of their performance last night was based around them being favourites and deep down not being confident about being their voodoo at home. They just about got the job done. It will be a proper test next week against KC Chiefs who i was very impressed by yesterday, i think that will provide a better indication of where both teams are.
When you compare the 49ers or the Packers yesterday they really are far more polished than teams like the Cowboys, Giants. Also, it hasn't really been mentioned but i was massively impressed by both Rogers (obviously) but probably more so by CK as he showed he can throw old school over 400 yards for several touchdowns without any picks and without relying upon his rushing game. Very classy match. |
