NFL WEEK 1 (HOW GOOD DOES THAT SOUND!!!)
Ravens at Broncos – ‘Some guy’ attempts 62 passes (62!! Really Jim Caldwell? 62??) while Ray Rice gets 20 touches (I,m not fantasy-bitter though, no sirreee!). Meanwhile the ex noodle-armed Herman Munster clone tosses 7 TDs.... I think his neck is ok now.
My Baltimore/Unders wager drifts well wide of the posts.

Fins at Brownies – Should be close but can’t find any angles. No bet.
VIKES at Kittens – LOCK OF THE WEEK, MONTH, SEASON alert!!! The Purplenation finished 6 games better last season and I can’t see much changing.... unless you think that Reggie Bush is the new Motown messiah!! (you do?... please seek help). PEDerson will run for 175 yds and 2 TDs ‘cos that’s what he does against meh defences. It’s also safe to put Jennings and Rudolph in fantasy line-ups. 15/8 Vikings is the gift of all gifts.
Rrrraiders at Colts – Could be car-crash TV if the Raiders are as bad as advertised, my hunch is that it takes 3 or 4 weeks to really fall apart though. I say the defence keeps them in this game long enough to cover the spread. Take Oakland +8.5.
Chefs at Jags - Does anyone really want to bet Kansas giving points on the road? Even against Blaine Gabbert? Hmm maybe it IS a good idea.......... I’m still not sold. No bet.
Buccs at J.E.T.S Jets – One way traffic as far as the punters are concerned but I try to steer clear of any Week 1 road-favourite bandwagons, tempting as this one appears. No bet.
FALCONS at Saints – Atlanta 6/4 looks a decent bet here with no proof that the Saints can play D.
TITANS at Steelers – If there was a ‘which-game-goes-to-overtime’ market I would be all over this one... like a heat seeking Bernie Pollard missile. 9/4 Titans has to be the bet.
BENGALS at Bears – Don’t sleep on the Bengals, they’re REALLY good. Jay Cutler and Matt Forte..... meet Geno Atkins, Michael Johnson and Carlos Dunlap. 6/4 Cincy will do for me.

Pats at Bills – A long day for the Bills in prospect and this won’t go over 50pts unless Brady cooks up a 40burger. Back the unders with impunity.
Pack at Niners – No bet but a game to savour.
Cards at Rams – Call me crazy but I’m all over the Rams to grind out a Dourest Show on Turf Superbowl win.... starting with a shutout of the comical Cruds. Over/under Palmer INTs = 3.5.
Giants at COWBOYS – Eli loves playing at Jerryworld...... I hear you. Well it ends tonight!

Eagles at Redskins – A basketball score in the offing here as both offences race up and down the field at will. Robbie Threesticks gets the W with a last second allez oop to Peter Waiter. Whatever the overs is it’s not enough.

Rubbish. If you know you're stuff, have followed the ins and outs and kept an eye on pre-season; it's the best weekend of the season for value bets.
