Last year, Betfair loaded all players onto the MVP market. This year, despite having three total points markets, two individual points markets, and seemingly having a market for everything they restrict the market to 24 players, and don't even include all starters?

I always go for the outsider. Yes, it is a QB driven vote, but it is very easy to imagine one of the talented defenders on show coming up with two impact plays, scoring a TD, and being the MVP.
Yes, I am looking at Haloti Ngata, Darnel Ellerbe, Paul Kruger, Donte Whitner, Carlos Rogers and Navorrow Bowman. The MVP is not a lifetime award so Ray Lewis at 10/1 in comparison to the others is humourous.
Alternatively, I think Alex Smith could even be worth a couple of quid. If Kaepernick got injured and Smith came in, he would rocket to MVP favourite. The chance of Kaepernick getting injured is what, 50 to 100 / 1?

No team takes more deep shots than the Ravens. With running likely to be difficult against the 49ers defense I think that Torrey Smith at 40/1 with Laddies for MVP has to be a bet.
Also Terrell Suggs at 100/1. He's finally healthy and can bring pressure off the edge. He will be a key to containing Kaepernick.
On the 49ers side, Vernon Davis at 28/1. He's a deep threat at tight end who can put someserious pressure on Baltimore's suspect safeties. On defense Dashon Goldson could be worth a punt at 250/1. He's a serious hitter who could have some highlight plays versus both the run and pass. If he manages to get a pick he will come into consideration for the MVP.

Agree the 10/1 is ridiculous...I just dont see them gifting him an MVP just because he is retiring and goes down as one of the greats....but the 66/1 was worth a small bet

12 more players added at ridiculous prices. When kickers are at 200, to have some key defensive players at 400 is ludicrous.
Suggs even if he isn't healthy, probably is the best defensive player to back...DPOY last year because he can get to the QB AND force turnovers...2 sack, 2 forced fumble game...
I am stunned ray lewis is as short as 13/2..I backed him for a laugh at 66/1...this is crazy

well say a quite low scoring game, Lewis lead with tackle and one turnover would probably do it! the love for Ray is ridiculous

Suggs might be quiet tonight as he will have to play the Edge strong and keep contain against the read option so he won't be pinning his ears back, if he does the 49'ers will run the read option at him all night and the Ravens will lose so the Ravens will be forced to play a read and react D ( soft if you like )

The defensive players Betfair added this afternoon are phenominal value. Ngata at 1000? Same with Goldson, Rogers and Whitner. If they INT and return Flacco to the house...

Both Jones touchdowns required a lot of skill and imagination , as opposed to simply catching the ball. He should have got it IMO
If it was a 7-0 win and jacoby jones TD was the difference I could see why you would be fuming...QB with 3 TDs in a superbowl..never in doubt
