certainly would be a great SB with 49ers vs Pats

I genuinely thought the Packers would come here tonight and ran slants, screens and quick midfield routes to the best receiving core in the NFL. Yet for most of the 1st half they stick to a pathetic run again that is virtually non existent in the team.
Jordy Nelson has had 3 or 4 catches tonight. Unreal. Look at the way Brady shredded the Niners when he went hurry up offence, quick throws, quick plays. If this isn't McCarthy's fault, whose fault is it? |
By:
A proper beatdown
.....wonder if they put Driver in for a play or two in his last appearance as a PackerWell done to all Niners backers. |
By:
they have only ran the ball 15 times

Let's remember this game should have been happening in Green Bay tonight but the Packers lost to the Vikings after some of the strangest Defensive calls I have ever seen a game. They hardly used Clay Matthews in that Vikings in game. A game they needed to win to lock down the second seed.
Not McCarthy's fault? Who then? |
By:
defence grayhawk...I think most of the packer fans had these worries from week 1....the franchise in good hands with rodgers,,,next season they will be back
By:
no guarantee they would win at home..homefield overrated
By:
the play calling in passing game been lots of deep routes, expected with those receivers more short stuff, beat man to man with their speed.
It's probably Jennings last game as well... |
By:
who is fav to get jennings?
By:
don't know, if he wants money a poor team I guess...Bengals so much cap space, should really go hard after him...
By:
clay any other team and they probably win tonight...this niners team is better simple as that.
By:
Yeah.. the inability to defend Kaepernick killed them Harry..... a lot of teams would have had major trouble with him mind
![]() |
By:
disappointing from the packers, you want to play to your strengths and at least go out with a bang but they never got going, credit has to go to 49ers but the packers never really gave themself a chance starting with the special teams drop. Kaep got picked early but that happens, a drop from a punt is regulation, shouldn't happen
By:
jennings and aj green would be a nice combo....it will certainly cover up the ever growing weaknesses showing up in daltons game
By:
Miami?.....sure Philbin would love him.
By:
49ers have had the perfect gameplan, keep rodgers off the field. They have dominated time of possession. Whoever they play, will either have to make them chase the game, or stop their run.
By:
As they said on the Fox half time show their defending of Kaepernick in the 1st half was a joke. They didn't even have a spy on him for most of it.
but I guess that not McCarthy's fault either? |
By:
the packers were awful in the away fixture against the Vikings, they played properly last week but put in the same weak performance tonight as they did a few weeks back against the Vikings. I think these wounds and weaknesses could take a while to heal, other teams in better condition over next few years in my opinion
By:
you make the game sound so simple clay..run more slants...throw to the best receiver corp....have a spy....it it was that simple you would never have any surprise results...you cant cover all angles on every play...clay I am surprised you didnt go for the niners..you usually go with the favs
By:
clay quick question....who has the best all round team..packers or niners?
By:
San Francisco the better team both sides of the ball
By:
hmm, yeah maybe Miami sure need one WR for tannehill, many team will line up for him for sure...
By:
and yeah Dalton got to step it up, looked better in rookie season
By:
texas answered for you...so it is not a surprise they won..they went it as favs and have delivered...
By:
149 points between the two games
By:
right incaseof...MVP CLUTCH player of the weekend? flacco or kaep?
By:
Niners have a far better D than the Pats but I'd fancy Brady and the Pats to cause them far more problems than the Packers tonight.
I don't see your point?? Packers tactics have been awful. Strange. Weird. Niners have played well |
By:
well you said that last month remember and the niners thrashed them really until they stopped being so aggressive on D...well my point is you seem really shocked the niners won as if this should never of happened
By:
Haha, I give it to Kaep, thrown the ball really good!
By:
was thinking the same but that pass to pitta for the 1st down was massive..that one throw may have been the clutch play of the weekend....guess kaep came back from an early pick for the TD...showed some bottle to play as he did
By:
Ill be back later for the Falcons destruction of the hawks

battle of the birds

By:
feck, I hate that, your team out and 9 month to kick off again
By:
0 play off wins, pressure on him tomorrow
By:
and a piss poor draft inbetween. 16 weeks of tough games and you can be out at the 1st hurdle...
