the Dallas -15.5 has been punted, but very low liquidity unfortunately
can never get enough on these markets these dayslet the friggin americans punt on here ffs would be loadsamoney then |
By:
I remember you spoke about the momentum team Harry, that could well be the Steelers even though they will probably have to settle for a wildcard
By:
I am already on the steelers but looking at the price I may go in again
By:
steelers may win the division still...cant just gift them 4 games as they almost lost at home to kansas...dallas away will be tough.
By:
I backed them for a bit at 50/1 before tonights game but my main bet was a few weeks back at 16/1 just before Big Ben got injured! Horrific timing but got a bit more on at bigger odds to raise the average. You must have a very tidy book H. Who is your biggest winner(s) if you don't mind me asking

As A Steelers fan I didn't think we would win, but Average Joe got totally outplayed by Charlie Batch - at home. Been telling people for weeks the Ravens are a total fake, today proved it, actually we ought to have beat them twice.
The Steelers defense was just awesome today, picked the offense up time and time and time again, like it has been doing for weeks, I did have the 9ers defense as 'better', now I don't think so, the Steelers have leagues best defense. The division has gone however, if Ben is close to 100% and we get a bit healthier, we can trade punches with any team in the AFC. There's no dominating team in the AFC or NFC really. Totally wide open NFL this year. Had a nice punting day too. Now on Dallas - 9.5. Of course the Bears let me down, and NE only got a push, still had Bungles SU and Den -7. |

By:
Oh and GB -7.

I'm not very original so I have Giants, Packers, 49ers and Patriots all in very good green numbers and I am waiting to get one more in the AFC in green numbers once I get a better feel for it so I end up with 2 on each side
49ers are my biggest winners but not because I'm clever, just because I follow them and backed them early at decent odds for good money |
By:
Actually, looking at the sked the Ravens could feasibly go 1-3 or 0-4 over the next 4 games.
Wash, Den, NYG and Cincy. Steelers SD, Cle, Dallas and Cincy. |

>>>>That's what I did last year, 2 teams in each, got on NYG @ 16/1 just as they got rolling. No bets on SB market this year though - yet. |

By:
what do you make of the Texans Dirk? I really want to lay them for as much as I dare but I don't wanna mess my book up yet I still think they are way too short
By:
Fair. Realistically my biggest wins are Green Bay and Steelers. Got covers on Denver, Giants and 49ers. Win a bit if Patriots see it through and win a load if Dallas win as got them at massive odds but then who hasn't! I lose a load if anything else wins but would obviously trade out for the smallest loss I can should the above fail to progress. I don't rate Ravens, Atalanta or the Bears so have no intention of backing any of them. I might have to cover Texans as to their credit they keep on winning but I'm hoping they will fall short in the play offs. Interesting QB situation now at 49ers, whether they stick by the young lad or go back to Alex Smith

By:
do you think the Steelers could take out the Texans if they got there?
By:
So stumped what to get on next game
By:
They are a very solid team, but beatable. They don't scare me, they're not a monster team like NE and GB have been in recent seasons. Gonna find out a lot next Sunday night in NE - cannot wait for that game. And they have the Colts twice, pretty tough finish, and they have the Vikes who are no pushover.
I would wait and see on them, three real good tests, two on the road. I think NE, Hou, Balti, Den and a healthy Steelers and even Indy, could all beat each other in a playoff game. |
By:
A lot depends on venue though, I can see Balti getting spanked by a playoff team on the road.
I'm gonna let the reg season play out, and then take a view. I'm most looking forward to betting on the individual playoff games. |
By:
One thing I would bear in mind about Houston is that they are not a really battle tested playoff team, like NE, Balti, Steelers - these three teams have been there and done it time and again, Hou are relative noobs. Same with Indy of course, as for Denver they now have Manning so I would not worry too much about their relative inexperience.
By:
"do you think the Steelers could take out the Texans if they got there?"
>>>Could they? Definitely, with a healthy Ben. |
By:
yeah it's the 'battle hardened play off tem' question that makes me think they have been way over bet for the SB
6.2? come on that is short! |
By:
