Anyone on Duke should watch the final 80 secs on ESPN at around 3.20pm this afternoon if you went to bed early , scores tied with 80 secs remaining & Duke a couple of yards from the Cinci line looking for some clock kill & a winning FG , 80 secs later they've lost the game by 14pts

Lesson learned with these laughable early bowl games, the Duke horror show, and the debacle mentioned earlier by Kriskin neither of which I bet on by the way, have left me very uneasy about punting on them. I think overall I lost about 1 point, but still. Enough.
Turning down a 30 yard FG to tie the game just defies any justification. |

Denver, Green Bay and Seahawks big greens for me dumped the niners a couple of weeks ago. injuries piling up. Giants and Steelers caught me out though. could have done with them in the playoffs |

Yes, my 2 antepost teams to bomb out were Giants and Carolina. So NY cost me as well.
Still not convinced by Broncos, they have not had a lot of coverage but seen a few games and they have a good balance of O and D but not spectacular. However that may be what is needed in a season like this. Seattle would be a near life changing win for me, so still dreaming ! |

5th seed is perfect. roll over the redskins or cowboys and then you have the falcons who dont scare anyone. probably be playing Green Bay/49ers who they have beaten this year. although it would be away you would be able to get a nice trade on that imo |

Hope you are right. For me, now it is all about momentum. Look at the last 8 superbowls. 5 have been won by number 5 or number 6 seeds.
