Whilst we seem to have a good couple of contributors right now could someone explain American TV to me please? All of these NCAAF and NFL games are on Fox, NBC, ESPN etc, are these free to air channels in the US? They seem to have 'game day' as a much more communal experience than we have in the UK with SKY/Soccer etc. Images of the boys all round the TV for 9 hours of NFL or 12 hours of NCAAF might be a little rose tinted but would be good to understand how it works over there!
you might have guessed but I ended up spending Xmas with family with no SKY so ended up seeing no sport for the whole bokxing day thing which felt so wrong both from a gambling perspective but also from a communal family sporting occasion way! |
