No.....it says specific UK related content will be in the show Cry

Just means a dodgy stream until the game starts but no HD and no chance to record Cry

Seriously you have to wonder if the BBC were the only people who bid for it. When you say it's going to be online, does that mean it will be on iPlayer?

Streamed live on BBC website...says nowt about Iplayer.

I can't possibly think that ESPN didn't bid for it.

cant believe you've managed to find a reason to moan about this, it's brilliant news

(though i do suspect the nfl is paying for the privilage of being on the beeb)

What privilege?
By:
Nilsson Schmilsson
When: 05 Sep 12 19:01
having nfl free to air in 30 million homes, they've done it with c5 before
By:
LostInBKK
When: 05 Sep 12 19:03
and the UK also gets the late Sunday games in Channel 4, is that also a privilege?

Sorry you don't have to explain what on earth you are going on about?
If the games are not on iPlayer then how can anyone watch them a decent time? When they were on C5 you could at least record it and watch it later.

Might be brilliant for you Nilsson.....not for me it isn't.

I'd rather it stayed on ESPN.

The BBC are that bothered about the game they've stuck it on the red button .....where they're gonna get no casual viewers, anyone surfing the channels at that time of night are not even gonna know there's a game on.

lix.....if no viewers tune into the sport do you think television channels will keep televising it....i would think the more viewers the better.

there are 4 BBC channels surely one of them could make way for MNF ...
By:

When: 05 Sep 12 19:51
You would think so Anton but they are saying its on the red button.

Don' know what everyone is moaning about ... is here anyone out there that was paying £10 a month for ESPN that can't access the red button.  Can't see how it will have any affect on liquidity.  Besides what casual viewer is willing to sit through endless adverts at 2 in the morning to try and make heads or tails of American football.  Sky draws the casual viewer but the late games are for the die hard punters.

totally agree with last poster. Great news. MNF comfy on the sofa instead of hunched over my TV for a dodgy stream. Jackpot :)

So we wont get MNF countdown on ESPN? That was the best thing about it. Can't believe we won't get 'c'mon man' anymore CryCryCry

Considering the time slot and the inability to record red button options (at least on a sky box) - not the brightest bit of work.

So both  Monday games on the red button. What on earth have espn got now, they still have the odd Premiership macth, but its not worth carrying on with them without any NFL
