Evening everyone, hope you've all Summered well. Not too many spread players in here but I thought I'd run a few of the trades I've made past you all, if only for you to shout abuse back.
Superbowl index: Buy Pats @ 46 - virtual walkover to the division play off game (33 points) and expect a home game to get them to the championship game (50 points), almost a free play for my money. Buy Saints @ 25 - expect them to win the South so even wild card weekend gets them 20 points, plus they're hurting. Sell Seahawks @ 13 - I don't buy the hype, they don't get past the Niners in the West and I'm not expecting them to make wild card berth, make up 0.
Passing yards: (50, 30, 30, 10) Sell Eli Manning @ 9 Sell Stafford @ 13 With Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Rivers, Romo and Peyton in this list I'm not expecting this pair to make up anything other than 0
Rushing yards: Sell Jamaal Charles @ 9 - missed virtually all of last season, that 1st hit may knock his confidence or worse.
Receiving yards: Sell Marshall @ 9 Megatron, Jones, Fitz, A Johnson, Cruz, AJ Green, Welker and Jennings in this list, how does Marshall figure ?
Wish I had seen this before wednesday game. I took the under's on Eli passing yards think the qoute was 10/11 under 298.5 with SJ and will continue to be a selective layer of this at times during the season. Think he will make up with significantly less than the 4800 he ended last year with. I like Atlanta on the Superbowl market as a wildcard spot and they get to the 20 points immediately. Good luck Horse you have started well

It's a fair start Gents but I won't be getting excited just yet. What I took from Wednesdays game more than anything was how improved the Dallas secondary was, I know they've been a hype team for 20 years but they could make a deep play off run if they can find a way out of the East.
Not many like these season long bets as there's no update after the weekend - I nearly got hurt last year when I was short of Turners rushing yards and when Jamaal and Foster went down I thought I was staring down a barrel, alwasy prefer to be a seller in these markets though.
Be lucky

Uusally 10 players in the group, the player with most yards is awarded 50, 2nd most gets 30, 3rd gets 20 and 4th gets 10, selling Eli in the QB passing yards market at 9 means he has to pass for less yards than 5 of the otehr QBs in the list for me to make a profit. If he passes for most I lose 41 points, 2nd most I lose 21 points etc etc etc.

I have backed Atlanta on the spreads market at 18-21. They will make up 20 minimum if they make the wild card position which I expect them to do. Not a great win price but I like the place elements of how the market works. I could see them winning the division above the Saints which would mean a make up of a minimum of 33. The betfair market for them has tightened up in the last few days and didn't feel this had been reflected.
