Is this not the NFL laying the groundwork for a possible London franchise? First step: establish a "home team" for the one-off London games, second step: permanently base the team there?
By:
think you maybe right
The rams ain't so bad and have a high draft pick They won't but would love to see them draft RG3, a game changing QB They will probably draft blackmon who is a ridiculous WR |
By:
should get 2 other 'big' teams, like the saints or maybe da bears in 2013 and dallas or the g men in 14
By:
Bradford has the stuff, he's just injury prone. They don't need RG3, or Luck for that matter. They need alot of other positions upgraded before QB.
By:
They obviously won't draft a QB but RG3 looks like he could be an upgrade on Newton and look what he has done to Carolina
Surely worth thinking about |
By:
Yeah I'd trade Bradford
By:
Me too, I didn't think that highly of him in the college games I saw and think he's been average at best in the NFL.
They seem to rave about him in the States and I just don't get it ![]() I think its a good idea to try to establish a regular team, but they Rams need a marquee player for the fans to get behind, and that's not Bradford. |
By:
not it's not, it's steven jackson
By:
I'd be tempted to trade Bradford as well (especially when you're sat on the #2 pick) but that's going to be difficult for the Rams having invested so much money in him and difficult for a new head coach when he's not had a chance to work with him
By:
tbf if they pick blackmom they will have a franchise WR
then bardford has no excuses if he bombs again they could have a look at barkley in the next draft |
By:
brandon lloyd's no mug either
'success' should be a lot easier for fisher in st louis than it would have been in miami |
By:
how long did they sign lloyd for?
he could have a huge year if they had a 2 cover WR like Blackmom |
By:
Lloyd is a FA...likely to Pats and back with josh mcdaniels next year with Ocho and Branch probably out...
Highly doubt the London franchise. I believe Rams will be back in LA and have one "home game" in London every year. |
By:
The dumbest decision in NFL history
That is the end of NFL hore for sure by next year will be 50k fans then 30 the following year like the Monarchs Fukkin idiot decision made by a muppett |
By:
I suspect Kroenke's grand scheme is to see if they can establish a fan base in the UK so that they to the ultimate team swap. The St Louis NFL team can come to London and the Gooners can f*ck off to Missouri.

I amazed that so many would trade Bradford. He has the tools to be a very decent QB IMO but the protection has been abysmal - always makes it very difficult for a rookie. Rams need to draft for the OL this year and I expect to see a much better season from Bradford and the Rams too.
By:
i dont think bradord is that bad but when a talent like Luck or RG3 comes up can you afford not to take him?
By:
But then you are back to square 1 with a rookie QB getting rushed and beat up time after time. You end up writing off yet another season.
By:
RG3 can handle a poor OL
his running game gives another dimension |
By:
He can handle that in the college game, for sure. Whether he can against an NFL rush is something different altogether.
Just not sure that Bradford has done badly enough to completely alter the plan for the franchise. |
By:
i know what your saying and i think they should draft blackmom
that said RG3 will be worth thinking about when you see Newton's success |
By:
They should go all out to either draft Blackmon or Matt Kalil IMO. Kalil would make hell of a difference to that offense.
By:
I agree Glossy...Bradford is the prototype pocket passer that wins championships...
Newton, Tebow, Vick types don't. |
