UFC is actual fighting, boxing is just the art of punching and moving. UFC incorporates boxing and all other fighting styles, give it a chance boys there are some boring fights but when you get a good one you'll be hooked. Jon Jones is truly one of the worlds amazing athletes, if you have not seen or heard of him you are missing out on someone pretty special.

Jose Aldo vs Chad mendes

This championship fight could be a fight too early for the impressive Mendes. Unbeaten in his 9 fights to date the challenger faces a formidable opponent in Jose Aldo. The Brazilian has been in good form since his switch to the UFC. Many people were expecting the former WEC champion to demolish his UFC opponents in similar fashion. Although he has remained undefeated he has not yet reached that same devastating level against his two (albeit top ) opponents to dtae, never the less he has still won in comfortable fashion. Expect Aldo to show his lethal striking game in this fight against a very game opponenet in Mendes.

Verdict........Aldo via TKO @13/5 Paddy Power.4/11 out right

Anthony "Rumble" Johnson vs Vitor "the Phenom" Belfort

A classic striker vs grappler fight, Belfort has probably the fastest hands in all of MMA as well as deadly KO power, but that is about it. Johnson on the other hand has tremendous wrestling as well as KO power, he also has great cardio for which in a fight that could go all the way can be crucial. Johnson will find this division a lot easier to make, he struggled every time with the weight cut and it should not be much of an issue here, having aid that he looked huge when sparring with Rashad Evans ( Light Heavyweight) recently, but in a good way. Belfort has not transgressed as much as Johnson, he KO's you, wjereas Johnson has improved to the point he can adjust his game to suit his opponents style, as showed against heavy handed Brit Dan Hardy when he out wrestled him, and against top Wrestler Charlie Brenneman where he outstruck him for the KO win. For me if Johnson can keep out of Vitor's punches he has the skill to cause the upset.

Edson Barboza vs Terry Etim

This is a tough fight for the Brit Terry Etim, Barboza is a very good kickboxer who has excellent leg kicks, he did however struggle against another Brit in Ross Pearson winning a split decision and in many people's eyes Ross should of took that fight. Scouser Etim also has very under rated Kickboxing skills and sublime Ju Jitsu and as long as he can match the Brazilian in the stand up game he has every chance of winning this. Terry took his last fight in an astonishing 17 seconds using a combination of kicks and punches before sinking in a guillotine choke. I am hoping Terry can get this to the ground and sink in a choke as with it being on home soil for Barboza, we may get the same outcome.

Verdict....... Etim to win @2/1 and via sub @7/2

Gabe Gonzaga vs Edinaldo "Lula" Oliveira

Gonzaga has been a UFC vet for a number of years, he burst onto the scene beating an invincible Mirko CroCop with a devastating head kick before losing against the very much lighter Randy Couture and Fabricio Werdum via KO, hardly known as strikers the two have identified a weak chin for Gonzaga, he has also been KOed by the heavy handed JDS and Shane Carwin. In Edinaldo "Lula" Oliveira he meets a very heavy handed under dog. Winning 8 fights via KO Lula has never fought at this level of competition but he does train with Heavyweight champ JDS and is every bit as powerful. Standing at a massive 6ft 7" towering 5" above Gonzaga he has the size and power to KO Gonzaga who essentially is a BJJ expert.

Verdict.....Oliveria to win outright @ 1/1 and via
