49ers to beat Saints, then Giants to beat Packers
Report Money On7 January 9, 2012 10:13 PM GMT
wudnt suprise me in the slighest all the talk is will brees outshoot Rodgers. if 49ers can be maintain the saints early and get there running game going then knows. also Giants are a very dangerous team always are value as underdogs which seems to waken them up, just hope we dont see the team that turned up against the skins in week 15

Houston aren't being respected at all

They have one of the best defences this year in the NFL and wade Phillips who is a defensive play calling genius back controlling things

They also have an elite running back and good backup RBs

Obv big question over Yates but he has Andre Johnson to throw to.

They are a crazily big price for the SB IMO

Texans/Ravens is the game I'm most looking forward to, can't see any of the other 3 games being close

49ers v Saints
San Fran were my big bet of the year to win the NFC West, mainly because the other 3 teams are absolute garbage, (I simply don't see what everyone seems to see in Sam Bradford), crunch time against an almost fully fit, fully confident New Orleans side.  San Fran will have to ditch the run too soon in this game trying to keep up with Brees & co. who won't make the same mistakes they did 12 months ago.
10-31

Pats v Tebow
Well done Tim, played as good as we hoped and well deserved, however this isn't a banged tp team with a banged up QB at Altitude
24-6

Packers V Giant
Potentially the Giants could get involved in a shoot-out but they will have to play at their very best to live with the games best team, they simply wont be able to pound the ball as easy as they did at the weekend.
27-17

I know Houston arent out but there are so unlucky to lose Shaub, imo hes the most underated qb in the league. id put him on the edge of the elites. Mario Wlliams was another big loss and i know all teams are suffering from injuries but shaub was massive. andre johnson is so ineffective with yates under centre. With money on the line GB have to be value at 3.1, after there silly loss to kansas the market overeacted and id say there more a 7/4 shot.GB are actually more forward with the loss as you tend to learn more and wake up when your knocked back down to earth. Can actually see the Ravens having a massive game on D and Flacco stepping up if they face the Pats.

Sincerely hope the upset's at Lambeau
Report Mr. Purple January 9, 2012 11:52 PM GMT
I agree with D13 about the texans. Was really impressed with them at the weekend and think that the D has the ability to shut flacco down. Obviously question marks about yates but 48s is massive
Report viva el presidente! January 12, 2012 6:12 PM GMT
agree that the 49ers are too long.

if you look at the saints' road record this season, it's actually not all that. they've had losses and narrow wins against poor teams, and SF are far from that.
Report themightymac January 13, 2012 12:54 AM GMT
About time people started showing the 49ers some respect. 19.5 on the team with the best defence in NFL is an insult. Devil
Report The Prophet Of Profit January 13, 2012 9:58 AM GMT
49ers are the clear value of the round.  Saints a different beast away from their dome. They lost to the Rams on the road ffs!

Dont trust Flacco but its though to see texans pulling an upset.  Yates vs Ed Reed. No thanks.

NYG might cover but cant see them beating the packers in Lambeau. If their front 4 dominates they have a chance, otherwise Rodgers destroys that secondary.

Think Denver are a live dog. Tebow can put points on that horrible pats D.  Tough to see them stopping Brady, but youd be mad to take -13.5 against Tebow.
Report d13phe January 13, 2012 10:05 AM GMT
question marks over 49ers offense and soft schedule are the reasons for thie price.

that said, the saints will have to be at their best to beat Willis and co

this is a game to steer clear of, imo. the packers' offensive coordinator's son was found dead a week ago, he's obviously off, and there's a question how it'll affect the rest of the team. especially rogers, who works with him closely and sounded quite affected when I heard him interviewed.

it's too much of a wildcard for the game to be callable, imo.

I've got a sneaking feeling for the unders in the denver pats game. can't see tebow repeating last week's performance; but I can see the broncos eating up the clock getting half way down the field against that defence, then fecking up or settling for a field goal. dunno, but 50.5 seems a bit high.

Question to the guru's,

If New Orleans beat San Fran & the Giants beat the Packers...

Would the Saints host against the Giants in the Conf Final?

Thanks in advance.

Correct Studious.
Report steviewillow1984 January 14, 2012 8:01 PM GMT
that will not happen,
drew brees will stutter against a mighty defence.
49ers play the run, burn away the clock.
few posessions in the game.
10-13

What price would people make the pats and packers matchup in the superbowl?
Report HowieTheRookie. January 15, 2012 12:46 PM GMT
I was wondering that too, I suppose it depends on GB's performance tonight.  I can't get too carried away with the Pats steamrollering a team that really didn't belong in the play-offs, so I'd say the Packers would be around the 1.6 mark in the Superbowl against the Pats
Report The Prophet Of Profit January 15, 2012 1:02 PM GMT
-2.5
Report barkinggreville January 15, 2012 1:03 PM GMT
Being a Giants fan I may be grasping at straws but it may be worth bearing in mind in the regular season season game with the pack the Giants went into the event without to varying degrees either missing completely or carrying knocks, Osi, Boley, Tuck, Bradshaw and MM, still was a very close game and all 5 are 100% for tonightExcited
Report grayhawk January 15, 2012 1:14 PM GMT
I'll combat that by saying both GB'S  starting inside backers A.J.Hawk and Desmond Bishop were out in the Giants game.....also the offensive line had big injury problems, starters left tackle Chad Clifton and right gaurd Josh Sitton were both out and right tackle Bryan Bulaga was heavily banged up.......all these five will play tonight,

This is the first time since very early in the season ( week three i think ) that Green Bay has their first choice O line on the field.

That evens things up a bit.

it was also at New York

Lambeau is a completely different beast.

I was thinking 1.6 on Green Bay vs the Pats looking at the superbowl market but I think thats a bit high personally.  I think that would be justified against the Ravens who are a better overall team than the Pats

Was really disappointed in Denver's gameplan last night.  They tear the Steelers secondary up and they go back to the run/option gae vs one of the worst secondaries in the NFL?
Report db1974 January 15, 2012 5:38 PM GMT
Pats D is better than Packers D (though not by much)

GB 1.8 and a 3pt spread
Report incaseof January 15, 2012 5:46 PM GMT
GBs d has better personal and higher level no doubt, but been surprisingly poor this year. But they has the quality to step up in the play off.

Texans with the upset here next! Cool
