This season has indirectly underlined that Peyton Manning is the best player in the modern game. Without him Indy go from league shoo-ins to having the worst record, while in last 3 seasons the two best coached teams in the league (New England and Green Bay) have successfullu shrugged off losing their starting QBs. Time has shown Matt Cassel is no great shakes, and I bet it will be the same with Flynn

the colts have been an absolute disgrace this season and thats not all down to manning,last time i checked he didnt play on defense.They'll be taking luck for sure and manning will head off to pastures new for some nice draft picks as they;ve some major rebuilding to do. |

That division is horrid, though, SDL. Their team last year on both sides wasn't too dissimilar bar Manning, though I do agree in part that there may be a wider issue - probably the influence of genius Dungy has worn off and Caldwell's inferior coaching is finally telling
