db got it correct, only issue is what the correct price for that to occur and then the price for the Eagles to win it all from 4th seed...
Jets beat Giants 1.694 Eagles beat Cowboys 2.14 Eagles beat Redskins 1.33 Giants beat Cowboys 1.65 (last 2 prices ie week 17 are only my guesses at this stage.) Could be 20% out. So laying 50s you would effectively be laying the Eagles at 6.28 to win the Superbowl at the end of the regular season. I think they should be closer to 80s because they will probably be at least 10s to win it all at that point. They cannot avoid a first round wild card match up, although that game would be at home. Personally, I am laying as much Eagles to win the SB as possible at these prices while taking the parlay of Eagles/Jets for the same amount. I strongly suspect I could get 20-25 after this week at worst, and if the parlay doesnt hit it's game over anyway. CS |

Does anyone understand why the Jets are so big for the SB
they are favourites to get the number 6 spot and then potentially go to Houston who will be no great shakes in the playoffs and then play Baltimore (who haven't really impressed) and then play either New England or the Steelers for the AFC? |

Jets will probably have to win out to make it and havent looked all that good. Their loss to the Eagles was awful and they looked anything but a playoff team. Sanchez is iffy at best and their running game hasnt looked as good as last year.
Whilst Baltimore has been patchy, anything on home turf is almost a gimme. It is only their road record that casts doubt upon them. As the likely second seed they only have to hit the road if NE wins through to the AFC championship and Baltimore has a fair record against the Pats in any case. Jets basically play an equal home game against the Giants who have been very patchy themselves but at best would give it an almighty shake. I favour the Giants in that one based upon their up and down habits. Last week they were awful so it stands to reason this week they will show up. Jets price about right for mine, a touch high, but not out of the ballpark. I have seen 67 at a couple of corps, so 75 seems fair enough. |

The jets and the titans both have tough away games and I think the bengals will beat the ravens at home anyway They then face Houston away who don't look a threat without a QB Got them at 240/1 and won't be laying off just yet Have the jets as backup just in case |

How can the Titans' road game against Houston be tough but the Bengals' road game against Houston be easy os it's against a team who don't have a QB!

I love these fantasy odds people put up while completely ignoring the possibility (and associated odds) of other more favourable match ups. 200/1 assumes results that have a price associated with their outcomes. In addition, strength of victory in the playoffs will have a major influence.
Cincy will not be 200/1 overall if other results go their way (assuming they make it). Having said that, 120/1 right now is unders if any of the odds below are even remotely close. |

Of course they won't be 200/1. Nor should they be, all I'm saying is that they are underpriced at the moment. And there is no guarantee of them meeting those sides, but that is how I would price them up in those games.
I just don't get why they are so much shorter than New York Jets, who would probably get in if all games went according to likely starting odds, and would be a real threat in the playoffs whilst I'm not sure why Tennessee are 5 times the Bengals price either. |

Best value for mine is the Cowboys. 60s at 2.33 to make it means they would be 26 for the SB if they happened to beat the Giants. I think they would be significantly shorter than that.

Lurie has left all the decisions on coaching staff down to Andy Reid. So what do we think, will Castillo still be defensive coordinator next season?
I also see DeSean Jackson has apoligised for letting his contract issues affect his play. He says he wants to stay at the Eagles but honestly doesn't know if he will be or not. For gods sake give him a much improved contract. |
